Local Embers & Co. are an awesome husband and wife duo that took our beautiful wedding photos and created a highlight video for us! They were very calm, flexible, and encouraging the whole time. I know for most brides the wedding day can be a little overwhelming and they did everything and more to simply make our time enjoyable and worry-free. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone searching for photographers or videographers---the highlight video was the best decision we made, it captures every little moment of our special day in 8 wonderful minutes! I tear up watching it every time and loved being able to share it with our friends and family! So if you're looking, I would look no further, they are incredibly passionate about what they do and eager to share that with others.

Lindsey and Matt are professionals who will immediately put you at ease and fade into the background while shooting candids, but step to the front and quickly take control to wrangle the bridal party and all those family members in the copious group shots. As the mother of the bride, I didn't get to see all the details of the food and decorations at the venue that day, so I was thrilled to see those elements included in their photographs.
Local Embers will go out of their way to do what you want. Four days before the wedding I called to ask them if they could make a video as a surprise for the couple. Having never made a wedding video, yet excited to do something new, they immediately agreed, and the result amazingly reproduces the love, joy, and relaxed atmosphere of that perfect day. Even though they are based in north Texas, they travelled over three hundred miles to Lubbock for the engagement shoot and then again for the wedding.

We seriously could not have enjoyed our experience with Local Embers more than we did. They are both so kind and willing to help with whatever you may need. They made me feel so at ease and confident during my bridals and made my guy and me laugh so much during our couples shoot at the wedding. Last minute we had to change locations due to weather and they were so flexible and were able to create magic even in a location that was not our first pick. Our pictures AND video were completely stunning and blew our expectations out of the water! Their organization and talent are absolutely top of the line; it was a sincere privilege to work with them!
