Amazing experience with litterini!
This review is long overdue. Litterini Travel is absolutely the best! When we got engaged, our #1 priority for wedding planning was to keep it stress-free. We’ve seen so many people spend their entire engagement in a nightmare of planning and prepping, obsessing over the details, fighting over budgets, and not getting enough time to enjoy the process. We were absolutely not going to down that path. With COVID in mind, we figured that we would have to be outdoors to ensure everyone is safe and comfortable in a larger group.
Living in Pittsburgh, with extremely temperamental weather and 9 months of gray skies, we decide the best option was to take off for a better location. We’ve vacationed in Jamaica several times during our relationship, so immediately thought that would be ideal. Jamaica has beautiful weather year-round, gorgeous landscapes, clear oceans, English-speaking (so no language barrier), and the Jamaican culture is very fun and welcoming.
I knew that if we were going to do this, it was go big or go home. We had been to a few basic resorts during our trips, but we wanted to get married at an amazing place. We also wanted it to be somewhere that our parents would be comfortable as well as our friend group.
That’s when Mandy Litterini came into the picture. She said 100% Sandals All Inclusive. Being a major player with Sandals Resorts, I knew that she knows literally everything about every resort they have, so when she said South Coast would be the best option, I took her opinion without hesitation. It. Was. Amazing. It was the best combination of luxury + so much fun! We ended up having 55 people join us in Jamaica and everyone had a blast! The resort was HUGE, a bunch of restaurants and several pools. My mom has some mobility issues, but she was still able yo comfortably get around and the staff was super helpful. The activities were super fun and we did a lot of the water sports since literally everything is FREEEEEE! The food was delicious, drinks were dangerous (all top shelf), and the whole resort was very clean. We got one of the best rooms at the resort with Butler service as well and I will NEVER go without one again. Game. Changer.
The best part for me? I did absolutely NOTHING to plan for this destination wedding beside send out the invitations and buy a dress. I don’t think I put more than 10 hours into the entire process. Litterini Travel literally did everything. The services are complimentary with the bookings. All I did was have my wedding guests RSVP directly to Mandy, she helped them understand the different rooms and benefits, got them set up with transfers to and from the airport, liaised with the resort re: activities, etc.
We had a few planning calls just to check the box on big items, like wedding location and style, etc. It was so simple. Mandy was able to direct me to the best times for the ceremony and reception to maximize daylight/sunset photos, how to capitalize on our credits, services that will give us more bang for our buck, and how to properly plan for the weather, etc. This would have been an absolute disaster without her and the team! If I had to help 55 people plan and prep for this trip myself, I would have been scrapping it and going to the courthouse. They literally made this process so, so easy.
Let me hit you with the major perks - once you book 5 rooms, Sandals weddings are completely free, which is flippin awesome. As you have more guests come, they give you even more perks. We had a bunch of rooms with our party, so we got HOOKED UP to the tune of about $7500 in savings. Unbelievable. We applied that to our room (we had the Rondeval room which is in the category that has Butler service which I HIGHLY recommend). We stayed for over a week and added a few things to our wedding that we really loved, such as
* a massive clear tent and dance floor with pretty twinkle lights
* photography and videography package
* decor items that were beach inspired for the reception
* pretty outdoor lighting for the welcome party
* sweetheart table at our reception
* the most delicious filet mignon package for the reception dinner
* an amazing DJ for the reception
* fire dancer show for the end of the wedding night which was such a unique and fun thing for our guests
* custom tasting bar with rare, high-end local rum for our welcome party
* reserved a private catamaran for our whole 55 person crew the day after the wedding
* hair and make up packages
* couples massages
For ALL of that + our massive, absolutely stunning room for 8 nights - under $15K, including our flights. We went a little wild with extras since we had such a huge credit to use as well, but even if you chose to do the basic wedding on the beach, it’s still absolutely breathtaking. There is no such thing as a bad option there. So many people at my wedding kept telling us how beautiful it was. It would have hands-down been $70-80K minimum to do the same thing in the US.
If you’re on the fence about a destination wedding, just do it. It was the best decision and we couldn’t have been happier with the ease of the process thanks to Litterini Travel. Anytime someone had a question I had the same answer, “ask Mandy”. We literally didn’t lift a finger. We are so appreciative of the help that we received! I can see why they have such status with all of these resorts. They all know their stuff! From my wedding group to you - thank you, thank you, thank you for making this such an amazing experience that we will always remember.
