We love our wedding photographs! Lisa Mims did an incredible job capturing our wedding. The amazing part is she did it without being intrusive. She effortlessly moved throughout the evening catching candid photos and special moments. She didn't miss a moment. We enjoyed working with her and she made it EASY! We booked Lisa for our wedding in May 2020 and after decided to do an engagement photo session with her. She did a phenomenal job, especially considering the summer heat and humidity! Unfortunately, we were unable to have our wedding as planned due to COVID-19, but Lisa was extremely understanding and helpful in rescheduling. She is a wonderful photographer and has been one of our easiest vendors to work with. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved everything about Lisa Mims Photography. Lisa was wonderful to work with and always had a smile on her face. When we first worked with her to take our engagement photos, we were both worried because we had never had our picture taken professionally before. However, Lisa put us at ease and made us look fabulous. On the wedding day, Lisa and her assistant had such vision with planning each shot, and our wedding photos look like something straight out of a magazine. Lisa got all of our photos to us within a week for the engagement photos, and within a few weeks for the wedding photos. The speed and quality of her work was outstanding. If we could give a rating higher than 5 stars, we would, and we hope to hire her for all of our big life events in the future.

Lisa was very polite and her pictures were outstanding! She was a pleasure to have at our wedding and I would hire her again in a heart beat!

Lisa & her asst. Lindsey were AMAZING & worth every penny!! We had them both for the wedding but just Lisa for the engagement shoot. Lisa is a fun, laidback, helpful, wonderful person. She answered all of our questions and even advised us on wardrobe changes. My now husband was very awkward around the camera at first, but she put him at ease and he actually looked natural in the pictures haha. She really fit our style of candid/natural mixed with some more posed photos. We had an issue with our Save the Date pics because a different photographer didn't direct us/pose us and we had no CLUE what to do; we got 1 good pic out of 150. Lisa would adjust my hair or tell me if something was off with my outfit and had great poses/ideas for us to try.

Lisa & Lindsey were SO flexible on our wedding day. Once I saw the hotel room, I realized it wasn't nice enough to do our getting ready pics in as planned and they totally rolled with a new spot, even though I didn't text them until they were already in the lobby. I felt bad actually, because I was very organized with all of my other vendors and I almost literally threw the rings, invites, etc. at her and ran to get ready. They did a wonderful job with virtually no help from me and got gorgeous photos of everything we wanted.

We got sneak peeks of our photos after each shoot and got access to the full gallery very quickly. They got TONS of wonderful pictures that we're incredibly grateful to have and we were genuinely glad to celebrate with them, not just to have found good photographers.

Lisa's such a sweetheart too. I was unexpectedly left without a coordinator and was struggling with the timeline when Lisa sent me one herself! They captured some amazing moments without being obtrusive, and we feel that having the 2 shooters was well worth it. You won't regret booking her!

Lisa was amazing! Our photos came out so much more beautiful than I ever could have imagined, and she was such a pleasure to work with. It really felt like she cared about us, and about making our day exactly the way we wanted it. I am somewhat clueless when it comes to photos, and Lisa made us feel so comfortable, despite never having had our photo professionally taken before. She worked with us ahead of time to have everything planned out (down to each portrait!) so that we were not stressing at all on our wedding day. She had the plan and told us what to do, and did it as quickly and efficiently as possible so that we could enjoy our wedding. She clearly knows what she's doing - the pictures were stunning. I am still getting compliments on them! In addition to her professionalism and skill, she was so nice and fun to work with, and made an effort to get to know us as a couple. Thanks to Lisa, I felt as beautiful as a bride should feel on her wedding day! She had the vision and the plan and gave us one less thing to worry about!

Lisa was phenomenal to work with! We were planning our wedding from out of state and she was so accommodating of our schedule restraints. She even set up a Skype meeting early on so we could just talk and get a feel for each other. We ended up doing our engagement shoot (which was part of the package) only a couple days before the wedding and Lisa was unfazed with the unconventional timeline. She made us both feel at home pretty much immediately and we had no qualms producing genuine emotions and smiles in either our engagement shoot or on our wedding day. Lisa was super responsive to all my questions, no matter how silly. She was also willing to customize a photography package for us at a very reasonable rate so we could have the wedding photos we wanted. We were both so happy with how the photos turned out - she captured the day just perfectly. I only wish there were a couple other family combo photos I had her take but didn't think about til after the fact! I would love to work with Lisa again sometime! She's incredible!

We are so exceptionally happy to have had Lisa capture our wedding day as our photographer. Working with her was an absolute pleasure from the very start - she is personable, professional, and prompt in all her communication. She took time to talk with me to answer all the questions I had when looking to book a photographer and to get to know my husband and I as people and what we were looking for in a photographer. Following our wedding, Lisa kept in close communication with us, and returned our photos ahead of schedule - within one month of our wedding day. Lisa was just fantastic - I can't say enough good things about her. She was so relaxed and easy to work with...when my flowers were late and delayed my bridal portraits, she instantly knew what to do instead so we wouldn't even notice. She went above and beyond in every aspect of the day and leading up to it. And I'm so thrilled with the final pictures - she got everything I could've asked her to, and we loved getting to relive the day through her beautiful photos.
