Linden Hall is an elegant wedding venue located in Dawson, Pennsylvania. Stylish and secluded, this Victorian mansion is the perfect place to host your celebration of love. It features beautifully tended gardens and sophisticated vintage interiors that reflect the tastes of a bygone era. Here, you can gather with loved ones to mark your milestone occasion and make memories that will last a lifetime

Facilities and Capacity

At Linden Hall, you can make the most of the gorgeous grounds with an outdoor garden ceremony. You and your partner can declare your love surrounded by leafy trees, grassy lawns, and flourishing foliage. In the event of inclement weather, the staff will offer you an alternative setting to protect you from the elements. Once you have said "I do," you can proceed to the mansion for your reception. This space can comfortably accommodate between 80 and 120 guests for a sit-down dinner. Alternatively, you can hire a tent or gather in the off-site Sarah B. Banquet Room for the evening.

Your wedding package covers a complimentary guest room for you and your spouse, one get-ready suite, a garden trellis, table linens, china, silverware, and glassware. Whatever you require to make your big day a success, the staff will do their best to deliver it. They can also provide catering, bartending, and cake-cutting services for your reception. Guests traveling by car can park their vehicles for free on the property.

Simply the best!!

It’s been over a week since our wedding at Linden Hall and we still can’t stop talking about it. We had an absolute DREAM wedding.
The venue and services at Linden Hall were nothing short of perfect.  From the moment we first walked into the mansion for a tour, we knew that it was going to be the location for our wedding. Fast forward a year later, and the day was everything we imagined and more. The weather was beautiful and we were able to have our ceremony in the courtyard; the courtyard looked dreamy with the with the fountain and freshly manicured landscaping (we got an extra bonus with all the fall foliage)! We had our reception in the mansion and can’t express how gorgeous it was. The mansion has so much natural character both inside and out that minimal decoration is needed. In a weird way, the mansion feels like an entity that is a part of your wedding and not just a venue… it is an attraction for all to enjoy the history and elegance while also celebrating your big day.  
The food served at the reception (sirloin, stuffed shrimp and chicken) was all very good, and we received positive feedback from our guests on both the dinner selections and the cocktail hour food. We also had had our rehearsal dinner on site and went with the Italian buffet; it was delicious too! The breakfast buffet (that is included with all
hotel stays) was also very tasty. The wait staff and bartenders were also very attentive and so kind; you truly feel as if every single employee is interested in making sure you have the best weekend possible. Special shout out to Dawn and Becca, who we especially loved!
Last, but not least… to have Rachel as an on-site coordinator from day one made all the difference. We had lots of questions for her during the planning process and she always provided timely and thoughtful responses while being direct and addressing any concern or question that we had. Everything that she promised was followed through on and it was very evident that she truly cared about us as people. She took the time to get to know us and worked to make sure that she understood our vision for the day. She is also so incredibly organized and makes sure your day runs smoothly. We had the most stress free wedding day ever and were able to totally enjoy every second of it, and that is thanks to Rachel and the way that she handled all of the logistics. Rachel worked directly with our vendors as needed (DJ Dickie with second to none productions, stone & field photography, Perry Floral, Katie’s cookie jar) to make sure that the day ran smoothly. We cannot say enough good things about Rachel (or our other vendors - we LOVED them all and are so thankful to them for making our day perfect!).
It’s the week after our wedding and we’ve heard everything from “enchanting” to “the most beautiful wedding” to “the wedding of all weddings” and we can’t stop smiling or reliving the entire weekend. A few of our guests provided gift cards to return on our anniversary next year, and we cannot wait!

Rachel and Linden Hall are the BEST!

Where do I begin? Working with Rachel and Linden Hall was an absolute dream. I cannot recommend this venue enough. We had a mansion reception and everything was beautiful. We had to postpone twice because of the pandemic and Rachel was understanding and supportive throughout the process. She was so receptive and accommodating to our particular needs and was a joy to work with. Why get married in the city (Pittsburgh), when the views and accommodations are better (and cheaper) at Linden Hall?! The value you get at Linden Hall is incredible. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS and the staff are kind and professional. Our morning after breakfast was awesome too! Linden Hall is a hidden gem and a wonderful wedding venue spot, I wouldn't have went anywhere else!!

The BEST Ever!!!

Where to even begin.... the venue speaks for itself. The mansion, the garden, the tent, and everything were fantastic and we could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding! Now to talk about Rachel! Rachel is the BEST. She was a lifesaver throughout the course of planning our wedding!!! She is so enthusiastic about her job and on top of everything that it made the whole process super simple! I would 100% recommend Linden Hall and Rachel to anyone that is considering this venue for their wedding!!!

Amazing Dream Day!!

We looked at many places for our wedding and was torn between two places. The moment we met Rachel, we knew Linden Hall was for us. The grounds are beyond stunning and Rachel just takes it to the next level. Our wedding was in July and it was more than I could have ever dreamed of. Rachel was calm and kept us on track and never left our side. I can not say enough on how amazing she was as well as the staff. We had so many complimenting on how amazing the food was and how awesome the staff were. Our guest are still talking about it months later. We just can not thank Rachel enough for everything she did for us on our day. If you are looking for a dream day with no stress and wonderful staff, food, drinks, and memories, Linden Hall and Rachel are for you!!!

The most wonderful wedding venue ever!

I am not big on writing reviews, but I had to write one for this place. We had my daughters "wedding weekend" there a month ago. I call it wedding weekend because we had the rehearsal and dinner Friday night,and most of us stayed until Sunday.
Rachel walked us through the rehearsal outside as we planned to have it, but also in the mansion in case of rain. Then we went down to the patio outside of the restaurant for the back yard bbq dinner. Everything was wonderful! We stayed later than I'm sure the staff planned on. They were wonderful about it. They put the rest of our champagne punch in a pitcher for us and even brought lanterns out to us as they left for the evening.
We all went to a wonderful breakfast the next morning before starting our day.
Sadly it did rain for the ceremony, but again the incredible staff lead by Rachel got the mansion set up quickly and efficiently. It wasn't what we planned, but we were so happy there was a plan B for us. The cocktail hour was amazing. Rachel added a lot of little touches for it as well as the tent reception that followed.
The rain stopped and the views from the mansion are nothing short of amazing
The food at the cocktail hour and the reception could not have possibly been better. I had many tell me it was the best food they ever had at a wedding.
Everything ran so smoothly even with our weather glitch. And again the staff at Linden Hall is fantastic.
This was our youngest daughter, so our third wedding, and it was by far our favorite. The other two were beautiful, but this one was fabulous. If I were to host another, I would absolutely have it here again. My one friend told me that next week that she's been to a lot of weddings and this was the most beautiful one she ever attended.
Anyone considering here should put all doubts out of your mind and book it. You will never find a more wonderful venue!
I wish I could have thanked every staff member, but I'm so very grateful for Rachel. You are amazing!!!

Rachel Swink at Linden Hall is a goddess and a dream come true, and I don't care how cheesy that sounds! She was truly so easy to work with, answered all of my million questions, and gave me great advice along the way. She was a godsend on the day of the wedding and went above and beyond for my hubs and I & all of our guests. She kept things running smoothly and I felt so calm knowing she was there for us!

We had both our ceremony and reception at Linden Hall and it was the most incredible day from start to finish. Linden Hall is such a beautiful venue- I love that you get the beautiful mansion for formal photos and the gorgeous grounds for more natural shots with greenery! Truly, it's the best of both worlds!

All of my guests have raved about how delicious the food was, and I truly would not change a thing if I could go back- and I feel like that says it all! I would give 1 million stars if I could!!

I had my wedding in the large tent they have set up outside the hotel below the mansion and I could not have picked a better place!! Where to start?? The food was just mouth watering. Rachel, the on-site wedding coordinator, was absolutely wonderful! She was available to answer any questions that I had (which was all the time) and if I ever seemed stressed on the phone she was always ready to calm me down. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the price was very reasonable for as classy as the place is! The photos we took in the mansion and gardens made for amazing photo ops and Rachel had too many surprise special touches for me to mention. I almost wish I could get married again just to have another wedding there!

The location is beautiful. All the employees were just WONDERFUL ! Bonnie, Jim, Julie, all the servers and maintenance employees, hotel employees were professional and wonderful to work with. The food was outstanding at the rehearsal and wedding reception ! Service was excellent. We could not have found a better place and people to work with to make our daughters and son-in-laws wedding celebration a day to remember.

We were married here on June 28,th 2014. As previously reviewers have stated we knew immediately upon entering the mansion that it was the place we would be married.. The house is
simply majestic and filled with such class and finesse it bespeaks to a time of grandeur and sophistication long since forgotten. The wedding coordinator Bonnie would not have been more warm, accomodating and kind everything went off flawlessly. I can still remember vividly every moment of our special day. We felt like royalty as we processed down the pathway to the gardens for the ceremony, then a grand cocktail hour in the library with its magnificent marble fountain, the panelled library and gorgeous interior. Our dinner reception was executed with the utmost precision and care. the food sumptuous, the service attentive and the entire venue was like being in one of the royal residences of England. I would highly recommend this venue too all who are looking for that very special place to have their wedding and to be able to trust and be confident that there every wish , hope and desire will be met perfectly We plan on returning this June for our one year anniversay to recall the splendid place. Thanks to all who made our day so grand.

Beautiful venue for a southwestern PA wedding. Wonderful outside views and the inside mansion for the reception is gorgeous with early 1900's furnishings. Everything is included in one price per person. They take care of food, alcohol, set up and tear down. Worth a look!
