We just shared our reception on St. Patrick's Day at Cafe Brauer. What a beautiful venue! Carrie was absolutely phenomenal as well! This was the first venue we visited and booked right away! I would definitely recommend! I will remember how beautiful everything was for the rest of my life!

I thought I had already published this review but in any case, here goes. Cafe Brauer at Lincoln Park Zoo is simply the most gorgeous setting in Chicago, at least in the warmer months. Also, Jennie at Cafe Brauer (who is really the only person we dealt with there) is very friendly and responsive to questions. Valuewise, it is one of the more expensive venues in the city. Although the rental price is comparable to others and does include tables and chairs, because all alcohol and other drinks must be purchased through them (at a a price comparable to restaurants so at three times the cost) it gets expensive. That being said I can't imagine having had my wedding anywhere else. The only other drawback is that many other wedding parties try to take pictures around the circle drive and building itself. While you technically only rent the hall itself it can get a little annoying when guests are trying to pull up to the front or you yourself are trying to take pictures there.

Gorgeous venue, amazing location and the staff is extremely friendly and responsive!

They do handle all the alcohol, so if you have special requests be sure to give them early on. You also get to keep the extra unopened bottles if you're willing to pick it up the next day.

We worked with Carrie for over a year on our January brunch wedding at Cafe Brauer and she was great. She was always quick to respond to my questions and concerns (there were many because we were trying to stay within a small budget and DIY a lot of our decor) and super helpful.

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location to host our ceremony and reception.

Ah, Cafe Brauer at the Lincoln Park Zoo campus! What an elegant, art-deco, historical venue! I knew it was the perfect mix of Chicago class and park tree top nature! When I contacted Jenny at the Cafe Brauer offices to see if this venue was available for our wedding and reception, I found a new friend! She was always upbeat, kind, professional and camling! We had a wonderful visit there and the space is pristine and full of character! All of our vendors had worked with the Lincoln Park Zoo and Cafe Brauer staff numerous times, so the wedding and reception were very well coordinated, which I appreciated! I highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants a happy, warm, inviting event experience! We love you, Jenny!
