I cannot say enough good things about Jaime with Lina Hoekman Events! She was so helpful our entire wedding and made everything run smoothly. I was stress free the morning of and didn’t have to worry about a thing. She literally saved the day when my husbands pants ripped 5 minutes before our first look. I couldn’t imagine not having her there, she was the biggest help and we are so grateful to have had such a great coordinator. Lina Hokeman events was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding in October 2020. We worked with Shelby Yoder and it was such an amazing experience. She helped me keep organized through the whole planning process and was always available to answer my questions. She was on top of everything the day of and I didn't have to do a thing. The weather did not cooperate for our wedding day and Shelby was quick to get everything flipped around to the indoor venue so we could stay on time. She helped every piece transition flawlessly and made sure there was food and dessert set aside for us to be able to enjoy. Shelby kept the events moving on time while still allowing us time to sit and enjoy the moments. She was such a pleasure to work with, I absolutely 100% recommend this team for events.

Lina has this way of making the most crazy situations feel like a walk in the park. I work at a wedding venue, so I've seen some planners ungracefully coordinate. But Lina does it with ease, plenty of grace, and an air of cool confidence. That is the kind of person you want heading up your special day, 100%.

Hiring Ileen was one of the best things we did for this wedding! Not only is she an absolutely amazing person, she’s an extraordinary coordinator. We hired her as our wedding day manager, but we received so much more than just “day of” assistance. We had multiple meetings with her, and she helped us pick up last minute items, which freed us up to spend time with incoming friends and family. We also had quite a few logistics on our end, to make it easier for our guests, but Ileen handled all of it like the pro she is. She managed to get all of our guests onto the shuttles to go to and from the venue/lodging to the USAFA Chapel without issue, and no one was left behind. She also made sure that the entire wedding party was eating snacks and drinking plenty of fluids, and she made sure that all the parents were taken care of, too. She additionally took all of our décor and set it up for us, and then gathered it up at the end of the night, which was a huge relief for us as the couple, as well as our wedding party and family, because we could just enjoy the day and not worry about details. I have had so many compliments on how incredibly smoothly our wedding day went, and I know that our day would not have gone as flawlessly as it did without her help! I’d 100% recommend her to anyone! Do yourself a favor and book her now; you won’t regret it!

Ilene and her team were amazing to work with for my niece's wedding, primarily for the day of wedding coordination. She was responsive, knowledgeable and accommodating. Not only is she an expert in planning and logistics but her calm and friendly demeanor is comforting and all know they are in good hands with Ilene and her team. Extraordinary circumstances with the reception forced Ilene to jump in unexpectedly and troubleshoot a variety of challenges which she did expeditiously and graciously.
