Nathan and Thanh were absolutely wonderful to work with and delivered photos and videos that genuinely feel like works of art. One thing we especially appreciated was how creatively they worked with our venue — even though there were only a limited number of naturally picturesque spots, they somehow made every setting look beautiful, intentional, and cinematic.

As two people who normally don’t feel especially comfortable in front of a camera, we were honestly nervous about taking photos, but Nathan and Thanh made the entire experience feel easy and fun. They gave really clear direction throughout the day, which helped take away the awkwardness, and they struck the perfect balance between capturing beautiful, emotional moments and helping us loosen up enough to get silly and candid shots too.

What impressed us even more was how perfectly the final edited photos and videos matched our vibe as a couple. Everything felt authentic to us — emotional, joyful, playful, and warm — rather than overly staged or generic. You can really tell how intentional they are about understanding the couples they work with.

One moment that especially stayed with us was toward the end of the night when we had stepped away from the dance floor for a quiet private moment together amid all the chaos of the wedding. Nathan actually went out of his way to come find us before leaving so he could say goodbye and take a few final photos of us feeding each other as husband and wife. It was such a thoughtful and personal gesture and perfectly reflects the kind of person he is — genuinely caring, personable, and deeply invested in capturing meaningful moments.

We are so grateful for everything Nathan and Thanh did for us, and we truly hope our friends and family choose them for their future weddings and events because they are incredibly talented people to have in your corner.

Highly recommend Lightyear Studio! Nathan and Thanh were both amazing to work with and so patient. First, there was open communication with us up until the day which made the process so much easier. Most importantly, on the day of, they both were so helpful in not only guiding my fiancé and I but also the rest of the family and guests for capturing all the beautiful photos and video highlights. The picture gallery was well organized and showed a variety of moments that showcased both my fiancé and I and all of our family celebrating us. The video highlight was so creative, scenes flowed cohesively and came out better than we could have envisioned. Overall, just a great experience!

My wife and I booked Nathan and Thanh (Lightyear Studio) for our recent wedding of over 200 guests and they did an amazing job. Not only did they do a great job directing the bridal party for great shots, but they captured beautiful and candid moments during the reception party and dance. Lightyear Studios is truly a master of their craft. My one sole criteria was that I did not want a “point- and -shoot photographer” and they are definitely not that! Nathan and Thanh brings true vision to life. We used them for our engagement shoot, my bridal shower, and our wedding. The pictures have all come out beautiful, and really captured the emotion and energy of the room. My husband and I are as awkward on camera as they come. The Lightyear team eases you and helps you navigate through each picture and pose. I don’t know how they do it but I am all here for it. In addition, Their level of communication and ability to get back to your questions and concerns in a timely manner is top tier. Highly recommend!

Nate and Thanh were absolutely amazing wedding photographers. They did our engagement shoot and our 3-day Indian wedding. We could not be happier with the photos. They are more than just photographers, they are actually artists who are able to shoot photos that capture feelings, emotions and movement. Think about what a dream vendor would look like to you. Now take that thought, multiple it by 1000 and you still wouldn’t come close to what Nathan, Thanh and their team are. We hired Lightyear Studios to do our engagement and wedding photo/videography, and it was one of the best decisions we made throughout this whole process. We couldn’t be happier with the job him and his team did for us. They were incredibly professional and ensured we got all the shots we wanted and then some. They made the whole process so much more fun and worked with us every step of the way. They took a lot of the stress of that weekend away from us and made sure that we were well taken care of.

Indian weddings tend to be pretty crazy between the various functions, timings and people. Lightyear made sure that we did our best to stay on track to ensure we got the key parts captured. They allowed us to stay in the moment while making sure they were shot perfectly. We absolutely loved working with them as they made the day as stress free as possible and made sure the focus was on us. As anyone who has done a photoshoot before (or not), it can be very awkward, but Nathan and Thanh did a great job keeping us engaged and laughing the whole time. Our family and friends have been so complimentary of everything they did and how easy they were to work with.

We would recommend Nathan,Thanh and Lightyear to anyone who wants to ensure that they get the best photos/videos for any special events in their lives. We realized early in the process that all the planning you do is mainly for that day and it’s one and done. The only things that come with you after is the photo and videos of that time, so it’s imperative you get a group that will do everything they can to make sure it was all worth it. They are easily the best in the business and our wedding would not have been anything close to what it was, without them. You would be doing yourself a major disservice by going with anyone else. I don’t say this because they did our wedding, because if anything, we would scrutinize even more. We say it because they are truly incredible people who care about their clients like family and make sure that your event is captured in the best ways possible. We cannot wait to work with them again and hope we see them at any upcoming events we attend.
