Sonja R. is an amazing photographer, person, and artist. She had shot two of my friend's weddings that I was in, and I knew when it came to our wedding that we just had to hire her. She is so professional, responsive, flexible (we had to reschedule our wedding to to covid), and FUN to work with. She has that calm demeanor that makes you feel at ease no matter what is happening. She is organized and will make sure you get all the photos you want. Her style is natural and beautiful and she will capture you looking great even if you get nervous for photos like I do. She also gives you a digital copy of all the photos which is wonderful. You will NOT regret working with Sonja or her wonderful assistants. Worth every dollar and then some.

We can’t say enough good things about Sonja. She’s one of those beautiful souls who makes photography fun, and her passion and talent shine through in the prints. It seems like everyone has a photographer horror story, but we can confidently say Sonja will never appear in one. Starting with the engagement shoot, we knew we had made a great choice: she’s got plenty of experience to suggest fun shots that work, and the flexibility and creativity to go with the moment when things come up. She really did her homework beforehand and had a bunch of ideas for locations, timing, and angles. It felt so good to be in the hands of a professional - she worked out a super reasonable photography schedule with us well in advance (do a first look if you can! It worked out so well for us!!), kindly but firmly rounded up family members, coordinated really well with her second shooter, and adapted on the fly to keep us on that schedule! It was a miracle. We got so many compliments on our engagement photos, and we absolutely love our wedding photos. She captured beautiful staged pictures and cute spontaneous moments. What are you waiting for? My fiancé and I love working with Sonja! The process has been smooth and simple. Our engagement pictures are beautiful. My fiancé and I wanted our eight month old puppy and most of our photos. We had a great time with Sonja (despite freezing temperatures) taking our engagement photos. My fiance and I are both not very keen on the idea of having our photos taken, and went into engagement photos thinking they'd be practice before the wedding, but they were actually really easy! Sonja made everything feel natural and we got a lot of great photos. She's also great with animals, and we had our dog join us for a few of the pictures. Can't wait for her to take photos at our wedding!

We were so lucky to have Sonja as our photographer at our wedding! We spoke a few times about shots that I really wanted on the day of and I shared my pinterest board with her, and she did all the magic:) She visited the site before the wedding, and found all the cool places for pictures that I didn't even know that they existed! She made us feel so relaxed and told us exactly how to pose for each picture, so even my husband who doesn't really like his pictures taken felt comfortable. She is so sweet, easy to work with, and very accommodating.
