First I have to say this review is long overdue. Thank you so much, Scott and April for your help making out wedding day unforgettable!

Life’s Highlights is incredibly talented and we were so thrilled with our photos and video. We knew even before our first meeting we wanted to work with them, as they were the team that captured my brother’s wedding in 2015. After my family saw the finished product we fell in love with their work and I remember my dad saying “When it’s your turn you *need* to call them”.

From the initial consultation to the final delivery of our photos and video, Scott and April were professional, friendly, and never stopped showing us that we made the right decision. We shot our engagement session with April, and when we saw the photos we were ecstatic and knew our wedding photos were going to be fantastic.

Looking back through our wedding photos makes me smile. They absolutely captured our happiness on that day along with all the love we shared between us and our friends and family. Simply put, the pictures were beautiful and will be cherished forever. That said, Scott’s film brought us to tears. It was genuine and artistic and had us reliving all the happy emotions of that day. It makes us so happy that we get to watch the story of our wedding day over and over again.

The best thing about the team is that they are married! That means that they know exactly what to do and when to do it for the “shot”. No awkward anything- they’ve got it down to a science, and it absolutely shows. I cannot stress this enough— My husband and I would sincerely and highly recommend them to any couple looking for photography and cinematography.

Scott and his team did an amazing job with our wedding video and turned it around in record breaking time. I was so impressed with the quality of work and responsiveness throughout the wedding process.

One of the best decisions I made for our wedding day was hiring Life’s Highlights for both videography and photography. April and Scott are incredibly kind, easy to talk to, efficient, and clear with their directions. April has a calming presence and expertly manages to scout out the best locations for mesmerizing photos. Each photo captures the emotions so perfectly that you’re transported back to that time and place. Scott works around you and you won’t even know he’s there, but rest assured that he is getting the absolute best shot of you and your spouse! He even had us wear microphone packs to make sure all of our audio was captured. This is so important because you only have one opportunity to get the right shot and you can’t leave anything up to chance! I cannot praise Life’s Highlights enough! They truly are a fantastic team- you will not regret hiring them to capture the special moments in your life!

We're writing this review 2 years after our wedding because life got crazy BUT our delay is not a reflection on how awesome Scott & April are. We used Life's Highlights for both photography and videography and absolutely love how our photos and video came out. Scott & April were so great to work with from the initial consultation to the wedding day. Communication was top notch. They sent a thorough questionnaire before the wedding which allowed us to communicate what we were looking for in terms of photographs. They were such a warm, calming presence on our wedding day. We cherish our memories from our wedding day and couldn't recommend Life's Highlights more.

I enjoyed working with Scott and April for our videography because everything was easy with them. They were always so quick to respond, always kind and thoughtful and knew exactly where to be for every moment of our special day. We could review our video again and again and never tire. Scott and his team were amazing, I cannot say enough good things about Life's Highlights! I had hired Photography by Avery off the bat and I asked her who she enjoyed working with and she suggested Scott. Within minutes of our call, he was hired. It is so important to have vendors that work well together. Leading up to the wedding he sent a questionnaire and then we had a call to review. The day of, I didn't have a worry in the world, Scott and his team were in the middle of the action (big dancing crowd) without us even knowing! They captured some of our most intimate moments and were able to discreetly mic us up for them- the ceremony, first look, etc. We cannot wait to see the finished product, but we know it is going to be all that we could have hoped for and so much more!

My wife, Stephanie, and I looked at several different videographer options for our wedding in October ’22. Ultimately, we decided we liked the samples we saw from Life’s Highlights the best and felt the most comfortable with Scott & April. It was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding!
We cannot recommend Scott & April strongly enough! They truly listen to what kind of footage is most important to you and make sure they capture it, answer every question you have – big or small – in as much detail as they can, and really have a way of being both simultaneously professional but also personal/engaging with you as well.
The videos we received about 60 days after our wedding were incredible! They did a stunning job of editing all the raw footage down to the real “highlights” of the day. The soundtrack they added to go with the highlight videos was absolutely perfect – we couldn’t have picked better songs if we tried. The audio from the microphones they had us wear was crystal clear, and we were able to relive the most special moments from they day and clearly hear what we had said to each other. They seamlessly put us in the right spots to capture the perfect lighting for the video footage.
We couldn’t be happier with the job Life’s Highlights did for us and once again, we can’t recommend them highly enough!!!!

I don’t know where to start. April and Scott were an absolute dream to work with and helped make our wedding the best day of our lives! From initially meeting them in a zoom meeting, we immediately had a connection and knew we wanted to work with them. They are some of the kindest people and we truly got to know one another throughout the whole process! From the engagement pictures, wedding photos and video, we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! They made my husband and I so comfortable in front of the camera and also caught so many amazing moments during the wedding that we will cherish forever. Scott Patterson and Life's Highlights gave us the most incredible gift: the ability to relive our wedding day almost exactly as it happened. They captured our day through video perfectly, getting every special moment, laugh, cry, speech, vow, and dance moves on film.

Most importantly, it was a joy to work with Scott. He was responsive, kind, creative, and made sure to tailor the video to everything we wanted. For the more special of moments, he was so discreet we didn't even know he was there, so you can enjoy every second of your day with that sincere intimacy.
