We were getting married on one of the big river boats in Stillwater. We wanted a cool, contemporary, chill vibe for our ceremony. Our coordinator, Kelly from For Better or for Best, recommended that we check Leslie out. She had a solo ukulele gig coming up, so we went and fell head over heels for her. Her setlist that day included a bunch of our favorite songs by our favorite bands, so we knew that we would click. We had a couple of songs that we absolutely wanted to walk up and down the aisle to (Sara Bareilles and Hall & Oates). She learned those for us. For the rest of the time she was on deck with our guests, she provided a list of happy, romantic songs that she already knew. We loved so many of them already, we just chose from that (Sam Cooke, La vie En Rose, Ingrid Michaelson, Bob Dylan, etc.)! It was the perfect vibe for what we had hoped for and it fit us and our ceremony to a T. Our guests still talk about how lovely her voice is. We have gotten to see her play a couple of wine bar gigs since then, plus a musical. The girl can sing anything and make it sound amazing! Plus, she is just about the nicest person you could hope to have on your team. Highly recommend.
