Can't recommend this venue enough to engaged couples. It's Appleton's best kept secret. Seriously. If this venue was in a bigger city, they would be able to charge a LOT more. The Somerset Room is gorgeous. You don't even have to do much decorating--your guests will be impressed with the modern architecture and design. Plus, there's a great view of the Fox River. The food is very very good and there's a lot of variety. You definitely don't feel like you are getting typical wedding food. Plus, Angie and Lola are fantastic to work with. They are incredibly dedicated to making your day great. And they are experts. They pay attention to all the details that you may not even consider. Everyone commented on the wait staff--when dinner was served, all of the wait staff came out at once and served the first tables simultaneously. It was like it was choreographed. VERY cool and a VERY memorable part of the night. It's just a nice touch that guests will appreciate.

My wedding was at The Warch Center at Lawrence University. I worked with Lola the catering director and she was great to work with. She always answered all my questions promptly and was on top of everything. The venue is beautiful and I would say the prettiest in Appleton. The food was great and everything was very organized. My DJ that has been working in the business for many years said wow I've never seen someplace so organized with the timeline and things. Overall I would recommend to anyone looking to get married

What a beautiful venue! The floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the Pusey and Somerset Rooms provide for an unbeatable view. The natural lighting from the setting sun created an intimate and romantic atmosphere during dinner. The staff we worked with through the entire process were extremely accommodating and well organized. It was very nice having the catering company and venue working in a joint effort - we were able to meet with both at the same time to plan out the entire evening in one meeting.

One extremely nice feature at this facility is their Audio/Video setup. The over-sized projector screen was perfect for playing a slideshow during dessert. The speaker system and microphones made the speeches easy to hear and understand from anywhere in the room. You get a dedicated A/V tech to help out during the reception, which was perfect for a surprise song from the groom to the bride. I was able to plug in my guitar and sing in to the microphone so everyone was able to hear. Overall, this is a great venue with a great catering company to go with it. Everything went very smoothly from planning day 1 through the actual event.
