What can I say about these ladies?

Amazing is not enough. Talented doesn’t cover it. Absolutely a joy to work with. I can’t find the right words.

Terra and Ronita were god sends. After our first date was moved due to covid. They stepped in to take over my dream Star Wars wedding.

They did amazing. They were so accommodating when we had to reschedule a second time and just rolled with it.

The day of I had minimal stress as Terra was on top of everything.

The decor was stunning! Ronita outdid herself!

I am so pleased and have so many happy memories created by these two. And so many compliments!

I highly recommend hiring their services for your wedding needs or any party for that matter!!

We feel this vendor did their best but was over their skill level wasn’t there. Too many issues and missed moments due to planner. The little details were missed. The reception looked nice.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Our wedding was Oct 2022 and we hired Terra and Lavish Belle Events with about a year before the wedding and luckily we already had the venue booked. She provided a binder with the services she would provide me and she did maybe half. The whole time I wished we just would have done the planning ourselves. As we had predicted for weeks, 2 days before the wedding she claimed she had covid and couldn't make it but also hadn't completed our decor....2 days before the wedding. These were our big pain points through the process:

1. Terra and Ronita are both very rude, not just to their clients but also to the vendors. There were many times I had to correct Terra because she doesn't listen and messed up details, such as us wanting real flowers and not fake ones. This was because the fake flowers would come from the company so she could charge whatever she wanted. Also, she never bothered to meet us in person. The one time she was supposed to meet at our house she never showed up and later informed us she couldn't make it. So through the whoooooole process I never met this woman once and you could not go to their office space.

2. Money. She calls your budget the proposed budget. She will blow past it without consulting you before hand and then hold your wedding hostage for the remainder. Because most items are purchased/rented from her inventory of items, she will not provide any sort of invoice on what she's buying. Towards the end we tried to give her as little as possible to do and we still ended up with a seating chart that wasn't ours as well as table numbers that weren't ours. Not to mention she never made the seating chart. We paid for items and services we never got.

3. She failed to pay our photographer on time. We paid her our full budget amount well in advance, as well as the additional $300 she demanded the week before the wedding and begged her to pay all the vendors prior to the wedding day, which she refused to do and said she knows best. Even with all that she still failed to pay the photographer until 2 months after the wedding, we suspected she spent that money. Luckily because I had been in contact with other brides using this service and knew things like this would happen, I had enough sense to contact the owner of the photography company and explain what was going on before she got our account behind. They also contacted me today to let me know Terra has now disputed the last 2 payments she made to them for our photos. That is theft since we paid her that money and have proof of such.

Check out season 2 episode 15 of Justice Judy and you'll get a good taste of her attitude in general. She's a con artist and it looks like the word is starting to spread. My only saving grace was my venue and their coordinator. Terra and Lavish Belle ruined the process of planning my wedding but I caught onto her act and made sure to contact all vendors before the wedding. Looks like she's closed up shop, but if she ever resurfaces just beware of Terra Gordon and anything she is attached to.

Unprofessional wedding planner, she had the audacity to sue one of her clients after she herself ruined the wedding. Booked a store front as a venue, didn’t check what time the “venue” closes down, last song was scheduled at 9:30pm as per her own contract yet she was arguing that the venue called the cops because everyone supposed to leave at 9:30. She also showed up before the reception demanding the bride to sign another contract or she won’t let the newlywed or the guests enter the “venue” if they don’t sign for extra charges. Do yourself a favour and watch tye episode before hiring this one!!!
