Daniele came very highly recommend by our wedding coordinator, Rebecca with Imagine Weddings in Santa Barbara, and she was right. Lavender & Twine captured every wonderful moment of our wedding while seeming to be invisible. Daniele's eye and experience delivered the photographs we wanted and so many we didn't think to request. Her use of sunlight light gave us the natural look we desired and kept us engaged with our guests throughout the day. As night arrived, Daniele shifted to the dance floor where some of our favorite and fun photos were caught in the action. We highly recommend Daniele and could not be happier with our wedding photos.

We absolutely couldn't have asked for a better photographer to capture our wedding. Daniele was easy to work with, prompt and efficient with her communication, and extremely helpful in working within our budget. She also did a great job of scheduling group photos ahead of time to help things run smoothly and even helped pick out a beautiful location for our pre-ceremony photos!

The quality of the pictures themselves was excellent and it was great to see the number of candid moments she managed to capture throughout the evening. Daniele was the first vendor we booked after our venue. After perusing the images of many LA/Santa Barbara/Southern California based photographers I chose Daniele for the lightness and life reflected in her photos. Although all of the weddings on her website are uniquely beautiful, they are all captured with such warmth. I knew that this was what I wanted for our wedding photos. On the day of our wedding Daniele and her assistant, Jennifer, helped shoot my bridesmaids and me as we got ready, while her second shooter Whitney, shot my husband. All three of these ladies were a joy to work with. The majority of our wedding was family members who wanted specific pictures with us and we did not want to do a first look, which made our timeline particularly crunched. Daniele and her team were hyper efficient, dividing up family members and crossing off photos on our shot list with remarkable speed, while also giving us time to enjoy our family in each of the shots. Daniele was open to any additional photos we wanted taken and accommodated all of our requests. As a bonus, Whitney also gave us a ride up to our reception which saved us from taking a taxi, since all of our guests headed up to the cocktail hour and reception after their photos were done! These three ladies went above and beyond to capture all of our special moments and got us up to our reception in time to enjoy a good chunk of our cocktail hour, which we had not expected to be possible. We could not be more pleased to have worked with them and look forward to seeing our finished photos soon. One of the great pleasures in the months since my daughter's wedding has been working with the gorgeous photographs taken by Lavender and Twine. I like to edit and print so Daniele and Whitney generously provided us with a high quality CD. I've made everything from photo books to facebook albums to custom enlargements and slideshows. Daniele and Whitney use natural light, film and digital. Their work has a lovely low key elegance, and they create truly beautiful images. They captured absolutely everything we hoped for, and so much more, yet were never intrusive. Daniele is super responsive and even let me test an iphone app. I highly recommend Lavender and Twine.

We are so happy with our experience with Lavender & Twine. Daniele and Whitney are wonderful photographers complimented by their work ethic, professionalism, and relaxed confidence. I did all of my correspondence through Daniele and found her to be timely in her responsiveness and flexible with all of my planning. On the day of our wedding, I was incredibly impressed by their ability to be quietly everywhere (meaning I never noticed them unless I directly looked for them.) Daniele and Whitney are kind, intuitive, and creative. We just got married, so we're still waiting on our photos, but from the quality of their other work, I have no doubt the images will be fabulous. I hope to work with them again in the future. Finding a photographer was hard for me. I wanted someone who made us feel comfortable, would capture the true essences of us as a couple, and of course affordable. After meeting with Lavender & Twine I knew they would be the perfect fit. They met with us and answered all our questions, took time to get to know us, worked with our crazy schedules, took wonderful engagement pictures and amazing wedding pictures. Daniele from Lavender & Twine did the photography for our wedding. She was very easy to work with. We never felt pushed or rushed and we were able to just be us as she captured our day. She was very easy to work with and we were very comfortable when she would have to help us find the perfect shot.

The whole day was fun and very little stress. Everytime I thought "this would be a perfect picture" I would glance over and see Daniele in the distance clicking away catching our every move. She was able to capture every smile, kiss,look on our faces and most of all the emotion of the day. All of our photos were so natural and soft she really has a way of caputuring all the pictures in the right light. It has only been a year but I look at our pictures all the time!
