I feel about Lauren the way I feel about my husband---as soon as I saw her work, I knew she was the one! She was also a delight to work with. She'll make you feel comfortable, and ensure all your family is rounded up for group photos. Would 10/10 recommend!

There truly are no words. Lauren captured our engagement and wedding to perfection. Every photo is frameable and embodies a different part of our life and celebration. During the wedding day, she was like a second planner, effortlessly moving things along and making it enjoyable for everyone. She captured moments I never thought she could during our ceremony and made sure every angle was perfect. There was no request too big or small for her. I seriously could not imagine someone else photographing our love. THANK YOU, Lauren, for all you did for us. Hiring Lauren was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We did our engagement photos with her in the fall (which turned out beautiful and helped us warm up to her and the camera a bit), and she just shot our wedding last weekend. Lauren was extremely professional and helpful leading up to the wedding, and was pretty much my right-hand woman on wedding day! She went above and beyond her role as photographer the whole time she was with us. Lauren was clearly so experienced and helped me with a lot of little behind-the-scenes things--driving us to the venue when there was a hiccup in the plan, instructing the witnesses/minister on where/how to sign the marriage license, bustling my wedding dress when my MOH was not nearby, and so much more! She did all of this while taking beautiful photos and keeping a positive attitude. She kept us on schedule and had such a calming presence. When selecting a photographer to work with for your wedding, you want to make sure that you enjoy being around the person (because you will be spending a lot of time with them on your wedding day!). We certainly enjoyed being around Lauren and would recommend her to anyone. Did I mention the sneak peak pictures are amazing?? Thank you Lauren!

Neither my husband or I love having our picture taken. But she made us both feel so comfortable and at ease. She's a lovely human and a great director. She photographed our engagement photos which turned out beautifully. We originally had her for our wedding but the pandemic made everything difficult and she was booked for our final date.
However she found us a fabulous photographer and assistant to shoot in her stead. Lauren did all the editing and delivery and we couldn't be more pleased! I will never be able to express enough gratitude for the beautiful memorialization of our wedding.

Lauren was an absolute delight to work with for both our engagement photos in 2019 and our wedding photos in 2021. Lauren was so patient and understanding when we had to change wedding plans twice due to the pandemic, and through it all, was one of our biggest supporters since we first met her in 2019. Lauren went above and beyond to assist with our wedding day timeline to ensure we had the most important moments captured during our backyard wedding - the photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined! Lauren is such a special photographer, she makes you feel comfortable as if you've been friends for many years and has the perfect eye for capturing the most beautiful angles, light, and details. I would 100/10 recommend Lauren Miles to be your wedding photographer, she was amazing to work with. She was incredibly helpful with helping us pick a first look location (since we live across the country this was amazing) and when on the day of the wedding, the limo company told her they wouldn't be able to get to said location, she quickly pivoted and helped coordinate everyone to a different first look location. She got gorgeous photos during the ceremony and reception, and made the family pictures quick! and easy Also, even though she is absolutely slammed by the crazy summer 2021 wedding season she got sneak peeks to us in THREE DAYS!!!! I could not believe it. We can not wait to see the rest of our gallery.

It has taken me a over a year, but I couldn’t let Lauren’s work go unreviewed. We were married last year during the peak of COVID and had to pivot our plans…we postponed the big city celebration and opted for a cozy elopement on the Oregon coast. After putting so much effort into our wedding we had few plans for our coastal getaway and Lauren handled it like a champ. She offered us grace, provided a timeline for our event to ensure the best lighting, and captured our day BEAUTIFULLY. We just reviewed our photos for our first anniversary and are still in such awe of them. My husband and I are not the most photogenic or comfortable in front of the camera and she completely put us at ease. She is so talented at what she does and appears to do so effortlessly. I can’t help but to recommend her to all of my newly engaged friends. She is worth every penny and then some!

We absolutely loved working with Lauren. When our wedding plans changed, Lauren stepped in on pretty short notice to shoot the ceremony on the Oregon Coast. She was super responsive, collaborative, creative, and helped us build our day-of timeline. Her unstuffy style made us feel totally at ease in front of the camera. We feel pretty lucky that our wedding photos were shot by such a talented photographer.

As the little sister of a wedding photographer, I fully understand the value a great photographer brings to your wedding - and the lasting memories they provide! Once we booked our venue, I knew a photographer had to be the next step. I spent a couple weeks researching with literally a hundred tabs open on my computer - photog websites, google reviews, blogs, Instagram feeds, you name it! I found everything about Lauren’s online presence to be kind, welcoming, playful, artsy and simply beautiful. She responded quickly to our inquiry and we had an initial video meeting (#covidweddingplanning)... And we just loved her!

Throughout the planning process, Lauren was responsive and super helpful! She’s a great listener, but isn’t afraid to offer her own ideas and expertise when you feel stuck.

Come wedding day - she continued to impress! Arrived on time, made herself at home with my gals getting ready. We needed a quick change of plans for our first look/bridal party photos due to rain and she handled it with such calmness and an “it’s not a big deal!” attitude that I never felt an ounce of panic.

As a couple, we’ll be the first to admit that we’re goofy and don’t feel super natural in front of the camera, but Lauren made us look and feel absolutely gorgeous! You don’t think about how much time you spend with your photographer on your wedding day and she made us feel so, so comfortable and relaxed. She found the playful moments, the dramatic light and the unexpected little details during our ceremony (like a wandering chicken!) that we will remember forever.
