I feel about Lauren the way I feel about my husband---as soon as I saw her work, I knew she was the one! She was also a delight to work with. She'll make you feel comfortable, and ensure all your family is rounded up for group photos. Would 10/10 recommend! -

Lauren is the BEST!
Hiring Lauren was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We did our engagement photos with her in the fall (which turned out beautiful and helped us warm up to her and the camera a bit), and she just shot our wedding last weekend. Lauren was extremely professional and helpful leading up to the wedding, and was pretty much my right-hand woman on wedding day! She went above and beyond her role as photographer the whole time she was with us. Lauren was clearly so experienced and helped me with a lot of little behind-the-scenes things--driving us to the venue when there was a hiccup in the plan, instructing the witnesses/minister on where/how to sign the marriage license, bustling my wedding dress when my MOH was not nearby, and so much more! She did all of this while taking beautiful photos and keeping a positive attitude. She kept us on schedule and had such a calming presence. When selecting a photographer to work with for your wedding, you want to make sure that you enjoy being around the person (because you will be spending a lot of time with them on your wedding day!). We certainly enjoyed being around Lauren and would recommend her to anyone. Did I mention the sneak peak pictures are amazing?? Thank you Lauren! -

The BEST photographer in the area!
There truly are no words. Lauren captured our engagement and wedding to perfection. Every photo is frameable and embodies a different part of our life and celebration. During the wedding day, she was like a second planner, effortlessly moving things along and making it enjoyable for everyone. She captured moments I never thought she could during our ceremony and made sure every angle was perfect. There was no request too big or small for her. I seriously could not imagine someone else photographing our love. THANK YOU, Lauren, for all you did for us. I would recommend her as a photographer for any and all celebrations, engagements, and life events. She is the BEST! -

Lauren was an absolute delight to work with for both our engagement photos in 2019 and our wedding photos in 2021. Lauren was so patient and understanding when we had to change wedding plans twice due to the pandemic, and through it all, was one of our biggest supporters since we first met her in 2019. Lauren went above and beyond to assist with our wedding day timeline to ensure we had the most important moments captured during our backyard wedding - the photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined! Lauren is such a special photographer, she makes you feel comfortable as if you've been friends for many years and has the perfect eye for capturing the most beautiful angles, light, and details. You will not regret hiring her as your engagement and wedding photographer, I can promise you that! -

We absolutely loved working with Lauren. When our wedding plans changed, Lauren stepped in on pretty short notice to shoot the ceremony on the Oregon Coast. She was super responsive, collaborative, creative, and helped us build our day-of timeline. Her unstuffy style made us feel totally at ease in front of the camera. We feel pretty lucky that our wedding photos were shot by such a talented photographer.

We were lucky enough to have Lauren as our photographer for both our engagement pictures and our wedding day. Lauren is absolutely incredible! She not only takes the most amazing pictures but also has an amazing personality and calming nature to her. She made me feel confident in myself during both shoots and is just so kind! We have only seen our sneak peak from our wedding (which she sent THREE days after our wedding- WHAT!!) and I was already in tears after just seeing these. She captured all of our special moments and we are so lucky to have these pictures. We will absolutely be using Lauren again for any future photo needs… no other photographer will ever compare in my eyes! If you are reading reviews trying to find the best photographer- look no further because I can guarantee that you have found her! -

As the little sister of a wedding photographer, I fully understand the value a great photographer brings to your wedding - and the lasting memories they provide! Once we booked our venue, I knew a photographer had to be the next step. I spent a couple weeks researching with literally a hundred tabs open on my computer - photog websites, google reviews, blogs, Instagram feeds, you name it! I found everything about Lauren’s online presence to be kind, welcoming, playful, artsy and simply beautiful. She responded quickly to our inquiry and we had an initial video meeting (#covidweddingplanning)... And we just loved her!
Throughout the planning process, Lauren was responsive and super helpful! She’s a great listener, but isn’t afraid to offer her own ideas and expertise when you feel stuck.
Come wedding day - she continued to impress! Arrived on time, made herself at home with my gals getting ready. We needed a quick change of plans for our first look/bridal party photos due to rain and she handled it with such calmness and an “it’s not a big deal!” attitude that I never felt an ounce of panic.
As a couple, we’ll be the first to admit that we’re goofy and don’t feel super natural in front of the camera, but Lauren made us look and feel absolutely gorgeous! You don’t think about how much time you spend with your photographer on your wedding day and she made us feel so, so comfortable and relaxed. She found the playful moments, the dramatic light and the unexpected little details during our ceremony (like a wandering chicken!) that we will remember forever.
We are incredibly grateful for Lauren and will gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented photographer to capture some of their greatest memories. Thank you, Lauren! -

Lauren photographed our small elopement this year and will be photographing our larger event in 2021. She was fabulous! Super attentive, EASY to work with, artful and her attention to detail is flawless. Her vision and editing is pretty amazing. We booked her and her partner Gavin Brown Media to capture our day, they worked seamlessly together and really created art pieces that allow us to relive our day over and over again. I would book her again in a heart beat, I would recommend her to anyone that wants to LOVE their photos! -

Neither my husband or I love having our picture taken. But she made us both feel so comfortable and at ease. She's a lovely human and a great director. She photographed our engagement photos which turned out beautifully. We originally had her for our wedding but the pandemic made everything difficult and she was booked for our final date.
However she found us a fabulous photographer and assistant to shoot in her stead. Lauren did all the editing and delivery and we couldn't be more pleased! I will never be able to express enough gratitude for the beautiful memorialization of our wedding.

Simply the best!
It has taken me a over a year, but I couldn’t let Lauren’s work go unreviewed. We were married last year during the peak of COVID and had to pivot our plans…we postponed the big city celebration and opted for a cozy elopement on the Oregon coast. After putting so much effort into our wedding we had few plans for our coastal getaway and Lauren handled it like a champ. She offered us grace, provided a timeline for our event to ensure the best lighting, and captured our day BEAUTIFULLY. We just reviewed our photos for our first anniversary and are still in such awe of them. My husband and I are not the most photogenic or comfortable in front of the camera and she completely put us at ease. She is so talented at what she does and appears to do so effortlessly. I can’t help but to recommend her to all of my newly engaged friends. She is worth every penny and then some! -

Lauren was the best photographer we could have asked for! She was very communicative before the wedding day and took all of our concerns/desires into account. Her emails were always professional and timely. On the wedding day, she did a wonderful job of directing and staging the photography. She was so sweet and encouraging during the process, which produced some great smiles and candid moments.
We also loved the fact that she delivered a sneak peek set of photos a couple of days after the wedding! I highly recommend her! -

I get choked up thinking about Lauren and our experience with her because everything she captured was so beautiful and our time with her was too short. I'm trying to make major life events happen sooner just so I can hire her to photograph them! In all seriousness, Lauren is a fantastic photographer and an amazing human being. She is kind, funny, talented, resourceful, and flexible. From the moment I met with her over coffee to the moment I hugged her bye on my wedding day, I was filled with confidence and joy that I had hired her to capture some of the most important moments of my life.
When Lauren photographs, she makes you feel so comfortable and easy going. She laughs with you, gets silly with you, and talks you through all the little things without making you feel awkward. The best advice I received when I started planning was to pick vendors you like because you'll be spending most of your day with them, and I couldn't have dreamed up a better person to share our wedding day with! Lauren did our engagement shoot and our wedding day photos and both times we were not disappointed. Lauren has a consistent style that makes me feel like I'm in a dream - all the photos are so romantic and natural. In my opinion, her best work is done when she's capturing the moment through her eyes/lens. Obviously we love our posed family photos but I feel like the emotion really comes through in her "photojournalistic" takes. She truly knows how to capture the connection between people! Communicating with her was a breeze, the contract we had defined was clear and reasonable, she was sure to answer all my questions and had the right input to give me when I asked logistical questions about our wedding day timeline. Lauren is a wealth of knowledge and expertise, and just a fun person to be with. You will not be disappointed with your experience with her! -

Words cannot begin to describe how happy we were working with Lauren! My fiancé is very introverted and she was so amazing at making us feel comfortable and look natural. Not to mention battling insane winds and somehow getting shots of us that look like there was no wind at all! We decided to do an engagement session 2 days before our wedding since we were having a destination wedding. We have only seen sneak peeks of the photos and we are already blown away! Lauren was an absolute dream to work with. My now husband and I have a history of crazy goofy weird pictures together, and somehow we look like straight up models in the pics she took. She was so delightful to spend time with, and made us feel so comfortable and at ease. The photos she provided us from the engagement shoot and ceremony are absolutely stunning, I could not be happier. She captured details I never even thought to ask about. We had a super small wedding (28 people) and she moved about stealthily and captured so many amazing candid moments. Do not hesitate, hire this wonderful artist!! -

I could sing praises about Lauren for years on end. You will have made the best decision of your wedding if you hire her. Not only do we have jaw dropping pictures that we get asked about constantly, she is now a very good friend.
Lauren stepped in in a minute of need when we pushed up our wedding and she was so kind and generous and reassuring that everything would work out. Everyone at our wedding loved her and she just fit right in. We've already hired her again for a vow renewal! -

He told me we were going to do a family photo shoot, and Lauren did a wonderful job of working with him on his ideas and kept the secret perfectly until the big reveal. The photos are UNBELIEVABLE. I cried when I saw them. She captured the pure happiness and emotion on our faces, something I will cherish forever and ever and ever. -
