Lauren was absolutely amazing! She was our photographer for our Wedding Rehearsal, Ceremony and Reception. She was warm, fun and bubbly while still maintaining a high level of professionalism and getting tons of beautiful photos with our large family. We were so glad that we had her to come to our Wedding Rehearsal. Not only were able to have some beautiful photos and moments captured, but also it really allowed us to truly get the full experience and practice of how the Wedding would be the next day. We also went with a second shooter for the Wedding Ceremony and Reception, which was a great choice as we were able to capture all of the photos and angles we wanted. Over time Lauren became not just our Wedding photographer but someone we could truly count on for advice and trust. Would highly recommend Lauren as your Wedding photographer!!!! She also does amazing work outside of Wedding photography and has really honed her craft.

From the very beginning, Lauren went above and beyond to make sure she understood not only our vision, but also the traditions and flow of our five-event Indian wedding celebration. She took the time to learn our rituals, anticipate meaningful moments, and capture them beautifully. It was clear she genuinely cared about telling our story in an authentic way.

One thing we appreciated so much was how comfortable she made us feel. My husband and I are definitely not people who naturally know how to pose or act in front of a camera, but she made the entire experience feel effortless. She encouraged us to be ourselves, laugh, be silly, and simply enjoy each other. Because of that, she captured so many candid moments that we'll treasure forever.

She also handled our large families with incredible patience, confidence, and kindness. Coordinating a multi-day Indian wedding with so many people is no small task, yet she somehow kept everything organized while making everyone feel at ease. She got so much praise from our immediate and extended families on how she handled the whole event and we are so grateful for her experience.

Lauren is exactly who you want in your corner for your wedding day! She brings many years of wedding industry experience and provided us such helpful advice as we contemplated different ideas for our wedding. What drew us to Lauren was her use of light, perspective, and how she can tell a story in her photographs. We are blown away by the BEAUTIFUL photos she’s taken. She put us at ease in front of the camera, and as a queer couple, she was very aware of making sure we were comfortable in public places taking photos. We know we made the right decision in hiring Lauren to capture our love!

Lauren and Espy were incredible! From the very beginning, Lauren was attentive and super responsive to all of my questions. Lauren told us everything we needed to know and kept us on track with a day-of timeline. Our pictures were beautiful and I cried when I opened them. I was worried because we didn’t have a large venue with a lot of staging areas, but wow! The pictures turned out great!

Lauren was truly the best photographer we could have ever asked for. From the start, she had multiple meetings with us to prepare and took the time to learn about our culture to ensure every important ritual was beautifully captured. She felt like family — everyone loved her! Lauren helped us plan the timeline, brought such calmness to me (the bride) and my family throughout our three-day wedding, and made the entire experience so smooth. Our engagement shoot at the Green Lady Lounge was stunning, and every wedding photo came out absolutely perfect. She even brought out the model in me that I didn’t know existed! She made sure everyone got the photos they wanted and went above and beyond in every way. There’s truly nothing I would change — 100/10 recommend. She’s a blessing to us!

Lauren documented our wedding journey all the way from proposal to engagement session to wedding day! Lauren photographed my now husbands surprise proposal in September 2024. She suggested he use a coordinator and florist for the proposal that we then ended up working with for the wedding! Lauren's beautiful personality shines through her photography work. She is someone that so obviously loves what she does, as was evident during our first wedding planning meeting with her. She moved us to tears as she described her passion for creating photographs of our love that will be viewed by future generations to come. We returned to our proposal site for our engagement pictures, where she seamlessly navigated a rainy day. Finally, she photographed our wedding day. Not only was she our photographer, she was a full on wedding expert! Lauren helped us navigate the timeline of the day, delivering gifts, wardrobe malfunctions, and all of the emotions that came with everything. Seeing our love through Lauren's eyes has been such a privilege and we are so thankful that we met someone so talented and special.

If you want someone who is excellent at their craft, takes their art seriously, but also will make the whole process feel personal and that your love story is important, don't hesitate even one second with hiring Lauren to be your wedding photographer.

It's been two years since Lauren shot our big fat Indian wedding. I can say without ANY hesitation that if we went through this process now, hiring Lauren would not even be a question.

Growing up Indian American, I always envisioned my vendors for the wedding would understand the multicultural experience. I believe I was Lauren's first Indian wedding, and she did not skip one beat throughout the entire process. She asked inquisitive questions and took on all challenges head on. I could tell understanding the couple was also important to her and... that was so meaningful to say the least. She made the entire pre-wedding period just an absolute blast.

My first time spending a lot of time with Lauren was during our engagement shoot. This is where our chemistry, to me, felt very evident. She just made posing so easy, she knew how to maximize light to our advantage, and when things were not going according to plan (we were running out of time) she was quick to check in on what we should prioritize, etc.

Now to the wedding. Lauren felt like family during the wedding weekend. She brought it second shooters that I feel complimented her style/work but also added so much positive energy the weekend of the wedding. As one can imagine, Indian weddings can be pure CHAOS and she navigated it flawlessly. I have attached two pictures, which are only two of thousands, but I promise you each one is perfect.

Lauren has done several multicultural weddings since then (I would know, as I LOVE keeping up with her on socials) but more importantly, to me, is that she is so beloved in our family she also photographed my sister's ten year anniversary shoot, pregnancy photoshoot, and newborn shoot once baby girl was here. It's actually amazing to think about how that connection was all formed based off of an initial search more than two years ago.

Lauren is simply the best. From our first meeting with Lauren we could tell how passionate she is about her work. I found Lauren through Instagram (She photographed the wedding of a former colleague of mine), and my (now) husband and I immediately loved her work because all of the pictures seemed very natural (Not super posed) and we felt like they really captured the love and joy that the people in them had to have been feeling in those moments. After having Lauren document both our engagement and our wedding, I can confidently say that her photographs do authentically capture not only the moment, but our love story. We just received our sneak peek from our wedding a couple days ago and we have already had so many people reach out to us to tell us how beautiful the photographs are. When my husband and I looked through the sneak peek gallery for our wedding, we were both literally yelling "THESE ARE AMAZING" the entire time. Not only are Lauren's photographs truly beautiful, but she is so incredibly kind, helpful (throughout the planning process as well as on the day of the wedding) and just a ton of fun to be around. My husband and I are both pretty awkward people and she made us feel so comfortable while taking all of our photos (even in the midst of an excessive heat warning during our engagement session). We seriously cannot recommend Lauren enough.

I cannot say enough nice things about Lauren! She is kind-hearted, genuine, fun, caring, interesting, creative, and professional. I found a few Kansas City wedding photographers whose work we loved, but struggled to find someone who matched our editing style preferences, budget, and date availability. Another photographer recommended Lauren to me (which must be good, if other photographers refer you!) based on her bright, colorful editing--not too under- or over-saturated. In our very first video call meeting, I just had a sense of peace talking to her that I'd been lacking in my search. I knew she was it!

During the planning process, she communicated clearly and timely, she was a big cheerleader for our ideas, and she was available for any and all questions I had (including the bridal stress spirals, haha). On the wedding day, she was fun, present, punctual, and kept everybody on track with the timeline without being overbearing. Every time I was talking to or hugging a guest, she was right there capturing the moment!

She also gave us an incredibly prompt sneak peek with way more photos than we expected so quickly, which helped kick some of the post-wedding blues. We can't wait to see our full gallery--working with Lauren, we've had no doubts she would capture our wedding day in such a manner we could treasure the memories tangibly for years to come!
