Laurelyn was a dream to work with. We could not have asked for a more wonderful person to have around us and document one of the biggest days of our lives.

We've only seen the previews of our wedding pictures, but are looking forward to seeing the rest of them more than anything! Not only was she focused on making sure that she took pictures of everything she thought we would want documented, but she was so open and flexible with making sure that we always got the pictures that WE wanted as well. She never once said no to taking a picture and was always willing to do what we asked. She really understands that even though her job is to document the details of the whole day, what also matters is what the couple wants documented throughout the day.

She worked with us at every turn to make our day special. She always wanted to make sure that we were comfortable and on board with every idea she had that wasn't scheduled in to the day. Furthermore, she always asked our permission if she had an idea that wasn't previously discussed, and that level of kindness couldn't be replicated in another photographer.

We originally chose to go with Laurelyn because of her unique, light, and beautiful style. You can tell that she works incredibly hard to make sure that each day feels special and unique. She is obviously incredibly talented and her skills can’t be overlooked. We have gotten so many compliments on just our preview pictures!!

She's a truly kind person and will work so hard to make your day special and as easy as possible. We would recommend Laurelyn to anyone looking for a photographer and would never hesitate to choose her again.

When looking for a wedding photographer, there are so many options and it can be a little overwhelming! When we stumbled upon Laurelyn’s photos we were sold. Beyond the photos just being beautiful, she seemed to capture the day in a way that you felt you were there.

After meeting her in person, we knew she was a great fit! You can tell she loves what she does and the result of that is her positive and easy going attitude. She was super organized and helpful so by the time our big day rolled around I felt like I could really enjoy it and be present. It was a hot & humid July day, so it was a little steamy at times and Laurelyn took that into consideration which made the photos outside quick and painless!

Now that we finally have our photos, we couldn’t be happier!! Laurelyn really captured all of the love that surrounded us that day and thats something we will have forever. She exceeded all of our expectations throughout the entire process and we can’t recommend her enough!

The wedding-planning process is a series of decisions, and I can say with confidence that choosing Laurelyn as our photographer was the single best decision we made along the way. From the beginning, Laurelyn was easy to work with and made us feel like we were in such good hands. She traveled down to Chicago, where we live, to take our engagement photos—and even brought us a bottle of wine! The engagement session gave us a chance to practice poses, and Laurelyn was a natural at giving clear direction and helping us laugh along the way.

As our wedding day was approaching, Laurelyn helped me pull together a timeline for the day—something that was not required of her nor was technically her job. We was so incredibly grateful that she was willing to go the extra mile to help us out with that aspect of the planning process. She even attended the final venue walk-through with my mom and wedding planner to scope out prime spots for photos. When you book with Laurelyn, you're not just getting a photographer who shows up on your big day—you're getting someone who truly cares about the process and is willing to go above and beyond for her clients.

When our wedding day rolled around, Laurelyn and her assistant were there every step of the way—from getting ready in the morning to hitting the dance floor that evening. She's calm and collected, which totally rubbed off on the bridal party and our immediate family, allowing us to feel like we could really enjoy our day. We knew she was in the background catching every single special moment and detail.

We recently got our photos back and we're so over the moon with her view of our wedding day. She was able to capture elements of our wedding that we didn't even get a chance to see. Beyond that, she made us look and feel amazing. For my husband and I, photos were one of the most important pieces of the puzzle, and looking back, I honestly can't imagine going with anyone other than Laurelyn.

Laurelyn is amazing!! She is super professional, yet makes everything fun and easy.
