Laura & Danny were so amazing to work with!! They made the wedding planning a breeze and the actual wedding day enjoyable for both me and my husband. Laura & Danny helped me organize things in terms of coordination with other vendors and were open to ideas I had for traditional photos that others in my family had taken when they were married.

I have been a part of many other friends weddings over the years and no other photographer had been so professional while also feeling like family and blending into the day. I can't wait to have some other reason to get picture taken by them!

Of all our vendors, Laura + Danny were the most involved. We were (and still are) in constant communication. We met them at our food tasting for the venue and immediately formed a bond. When we decided to "propose" to them, so to speak, and ask if they would be part of our wedding, we didn't just get an email or a phone call saying, "yes, we're available." Nope. Not from these two. I clicked on a link in my email one day and they had recorded and uploaded a video to YouTube with their response! Of course, it was a yes! It was from that moment that we were sold on this couple and how much we were going to love them. As the previous posters have described the process, I won't go into detail about it. All I'll say is that if you want nice pictures, literally anyone can do that. What sets Laura and Danny apart is the fact that they love what they do, they truly care about what's best for you, and they are so genuine about everything that its impossible not to trust them. Like I said, I feel blessed because we gained more than just picture takers, we gained friends. We never stopped being amazed by what they did and what they were willing to do for us...from something so small as Laura letting me use her lipgloss on my wedding day for a touch up, to her calling my venue and other vendors herself to ensure a fabulous wedding day. You won't find a better couple to share this journey with. We love the Yangs!

Laura and her husband Danny were everything I could have dreamt of. The photos were so beautiful I can't stop looking at them. I was so blessed to find them. They made my day truly special and I could tell that they were genuinely happy for us. They were so receptive to all of our requests and even helped us see the benefit of a few things we weren't sure if we wanted.

I happened upon Laura quite serendipitously (through a Wedding Wire email that I almost deleted but then decided to click on just for the heck of it). I loved what I saw on her website and decided to send her an email. I got an enthusiastic and detailed response about 5 minutes later. This was a precursor to my whole experience working with Laura - she was endlessly enthusiastic, responsive, helpful and full of excellent advice and suggestions. Hiring her was one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire wedding planning process.

Laura is extremely on top of things, stays in frequent contact with you, offers very thoughtful advice (when she suggests doing or not doing something, trust her, she's right!), prepares a timeline for the wedding day (which was a lifesaver for us!) and generally takes the guesswork out of so many aspects of the planning process. Her preparation and experience constantly impressed us.

When you hire Laura and Danny, you get them for the entire wedding day. This is not something that all photographers do, or if they offer to do it, it will cost you extra. Don't underestimate the value of having your photographers there throughout your entire day. Not only did Laura and Danny make sure everything was happening when and where it was supposed to, but they captured all those "getting ready" moments that you want to be able to remember forever.

Laura and Danny are incredible photographers. As people who don't like having our picture taken and feel like we've never taken a good picture of ourselves, my husband and I were blown away at how our pictures turned out. The way Laura and Danny capture the light and capture the moment makes almost every single picture frame-worthy. Between our engagement session and our wedding, we now have a stunning collection of photographs that we treasure and feel so lucky to have.

Laura & Danny were a phenomenal pair to have as our wedding photographers. To start, we couldn’t have been happier with how our engagement and wedding photos came out. They captured every detail of our wedding day in such amazing fashion, with our photos showcasing not only everything that went on but getting the emotions perfectly as well. One comment we got from someone who wasn’t able to attend was that “it felt like I was re-living your wedding day with you two!”
We know that all of this was a result of an impressive amount of organization and preparation by Laura & Danny. They took a genuine interest in us and not just the duties of photographing our wedding, tailored their approach to their job to our personalities, listening to what was important to us and helping us with things we hadn’t even thought of or planned for yet. And with both of us being naturally camera-shy, Laura’s patience and encouragement helped get us to be ourselves in front of a lens during our engagement session – which really helped on our wedding day! Their work didn’t stop at understanding our ‘photography wish list.’ They scouted out our venues to get familiarized, as well as connected with our ceremony and reception coordinators in advance.
Lastly, the ‘packaging’ of their work was very innovative and a hit with us, our family, and friends. They hosted a custom photo site for us, created and posted tear-inducing video slideshows of our engagement session and wedding, and used social media tools very gracefully. Most impressively to us, Laura remembered so many tiny little details about us from our conversations and weaved them into stories that accompanied our photos. As for the physical memorabilia – well, nothing beat the feeling of arriving back from our honeymoon and having an elegantly-packaged DVD of photos delivered to our doorstep that day!

Laura and Danny were wonderful. I thought so and everyone who saw our pictures told me how great our pictures were.

1) Laura and Danny are such gracious people and easy to work with. They interacted so well with our guests. When my officiant saw me during the reception he told me "They're really good!" He's seen a lot of weddings and photographers so I trust his judgment.

2) They capture moments. Not everyone can do that. This team is so great with candid shots. There are plenty of people who can take pictures of still details and posed people. I was delighted at the moments captured when I saw my wedding pictures.

3) They do so much and pay attention to details along the way. They gave us a questionnaire. We have our own website (which is soooo nice) with engagement and wedding photos, a slideshow, and a blog write up. The blog write up was so nice for people who weren't able to make it. Laura made herself available to thoroughly go over the pictures we wanted to make sure we had.

3) They totally blew me away when I received the cd of our pictures. It's not in a dinky plastic case. The packaging is sooo nice. I have hundreds of pictures of our special day.

If they shoot your special day you're blessed to have them. They are just great :)

Laura and Danny are two of the most genuine photographers you'll ever meet. They truly love what they do, and it shows in thier work.
