I am so overwhelmed with joy to be writing this honest review because I cannot recommend Laura enough. From our first interaction, I felt like we were long time friends and every conversation felt like a warm hug. We knew that we would feel awkward taking photos and needed someone we would feel comfortable with. We also wanted a photographer who would capture those candid emotions from our big day. We instantly connected with Laura and knew she was the perfect fit.

From first contact to our engagement shoot to our wedding day, Laura was our favorite vendor to work with throughout our wedding planning experience. Every meeting somehow ended with belly laughter like the therapy we needed from the stress of wedding planning! She knew how to put us as ease when we were in front of the camera yet still stayed professional.

Laura’s photography style is genuine, moody, romantic. We are just so in love with how our photos turned out. We also wanted to have photos with our fur baby and she knew exactly how to best handle and capture her. Going through our wedding gallery brought back so many of our favorite memories, some we honestly forgot. She delivered on exactly what we were looking for. We cannot recommend Laura enough!

Laura is a great photographer. I was referenced by my sister who used Laura as her engagement photographer at the beach. Laura was my wedding photographer in Joshua Tree and Palm Springs. She gladly drove almost two hours to the wedding site, then another hour with my and my party to the photo site. Just in those two actions, Laura showed how accommodating she could be and would gladly spend an entire day working and traveling.

My friends and family in my party felt like Laura was a part of the group. She happily obliged to all of their silly requests of the photo poses they wanted to try, and made conversation with everyone. She made my husband feel really good and natural in front of the camera, when he is notorious for being uncomfortable in those situations.

Our photos were taken in the desert during the day and at sunset, and Laura did a great job bringing out the natural environment, which is something that I emphasized in our prior meetings. There was so much sun and it was probably around 85 degrees, yet the no one looked hot or sweaty in the photos. She had a great use of light, and a keen eye for editing the photos to bring out all of the colors in everyone's faces and clothes that really matched the rocky desert around us.

Overall, I really enjoyed having Laura around for our wedding day. Everyone was so comfortable with her presence which made our experience and photos so natural and happy. I would definitely use her for any other photography need in the future.

Her directions for different poses were easy to follow, and her enthusiasm and excited reaction after taking a picture was infectious and engaging. We loved looking at the pictures she took for both occasions, especially how she captured our expressions and emotions in the moment. We felt very comfortable being affectionate in front of the camera, and she made it so much fun to take pictures in a variety of settings. She drove with us to different locations for our engagement photoshoot, and was very professional and supportive on our wedding day. We hope to work with her again to capture more of our memories in the future.

Laura is a great photographer with an equally as amazing personality. She was the perfect fit for our small wedding and it felt like she was part of the family, all while capturing our most special moments. We will definitely be booking her again in the future.
