Laube Hall is located inside the Freeport Community Park and offers banquet hall rental with a capacity of up to 500 guests. In addition to wedding receptions, couples may choose to have theirwedding ceremony on our outdoor patio or indoor grand fireplace, as both locations make a beautiful backdrop to celebrate your nuptials.

Upon entering the banquet hall, there is a large foyer with plenty of room for a place card table and during winter months, a coat check with an attendant is available. From there, you proceed through a second set of doors into the main ballroom. The ballroom has high vaulted ceilings with large wooden beams. At one end of the room is a large (floor to ceiling) stone wall with a built in fireplace and all stone hearth. Accenting the fireplace are lit candles that add to the uniqueness of the room. Lighting is provided by several fully dimmable hanging chandeliers as well as recessed lighting that span the length of the ballroom. The floor has neutral colored carpeting and in the center of the hall is a very large “built in” wooden dance floor.

On one side of the ballroom is an extremely large commercial kitchen, as well as a second room which will house your buffet line for dinner (should you opt to have your meal served buffet style as opposed to sit-down). The nice thing about this room is that it allows your caterer direct access from the kitchen and it also has 2 entrances (one at each end) that allows for a smooth flow of guests as they proceed through the buffet. Having this buffet room maximizes the floor space within the main ballroom, since you do not need to allow for an area for the buffet tables.

Located on the same side of the ballroom as the kitchen, there is a large built in bar with ample room for multiple bartenders. Included in the bar, is a draft beer system.

On the other side of the ballroom are multiple doors leading to an outdoor balcony with an incredible view of the Allegheny River and Freeport Bridge. This uncovered balcony spans the length of the hall and provides a nice area for your guests to mingle. It also serves as a convenient outdoor smoking area.

On the lower level is a large covered patio which is perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Also located on the lower level are several smaller rooms that can be used as bridal suites to allow bridal party members an area to dress prior to your ceremony.

We have worked with couples just like you to design exclusive weddings for every budget. At Laube Hall you are able to utilize your own caterer. This allows you both flexibility and the potential to save money. Since Laube Hall does not have a liquor license, clients can provide their own alcohol. Again, this can result in a tremendous cost savings for thrifty couples.
