Peter LaRouche is a gem! My husband and I love this man and his work. We live in D.C. and before getting engaged were seaching for inspiration on my engagement ring as I had no idea what I would like. We stumbled upon LaRouche on eBay of all places and saw his work...these were unique rings, with a nice sense of style and an amazing price. We couldn't believe our eyes. Peter is located in NY's famed "Diamond District" and I had the pleasure to visit him. His store is right on Fifth Avenue. Meeting him you feel immediately at ease. I tried on 8 rings...including one that I had seen on the site and immediately fell for. I loved it instantly...it's a 1.5 carat center and another 1 carat and change surrounding...its gorgeous. And the price was in our budget...based on our research the ring was $5K less than what we had been quoted in DC for a comparable ring. But the interesting part, was as I looked at other rings, larger rings and more expensive rings, Peter asked me questions about my personal style and taste. He noticed my watch which has pavee diamonds on the bezel and commented that the ring I kept coming back to matched my style and needs. As far as jewelers go, typically I've found them trying to sell me more expensive items...this is the first time a jeweler ever listened to me, noticed my style and picked the best ring for me. Needless to say, this quality endeared him even more to my fiancee. We were so pleased, we purchased our wedding rings as well...and in a suprise move Peter and my husband designed matching diamond earrings which were my wedding present. Every piece we purchased was exquisite, well made and sold at a highly competitive price.

Even though NY may not be close, I would highly, highly, highly recommend seeing Peter's selection before buying an enagaement ring or any other jewelry. His customer service is impeccable and his jewelry flawless which made this one of the best vendor experiences we had.
