History

The property that The Larimore sits on was purchased in 1850 by Wilson Larimore. In 1858 the manor house that you can now host your wedding in was built. A number of the accents and details were crafted in the Italianate style, giving the house a sense of refinement. Eventually, the Penningroth family bought the property and for a century used it as a holiday home. Finally, in the late 80s, the house was purchased and the new owners renovated the mansion with attention to all the historical details.
