Lansdale Florist was the second florist that I met with for my wedding flowers after the first florist failed to respond to my calls or e-mail after our initial meeting. I knew Lansdale florist as a local florist to my parents and my mom and I went in to meet with Karen. I really didn't know much of what I wanted with the exception of the use of sunflowers, but she brought out actual flowers to show us. We decided at that meeting to book them as the florist for the wedding. The cost was even right in line with what we expected if not slightly less than we anticipated.
Throught the months leading up to my wedding a few things changed from the original meeting. Since I was using flowers at the cake topper I needed to let Karen know when I changed the cake design. She was right on top of everything and told me that it wouldn't be a problem at all. On the day of my wedding I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the cake looked decked out in flowers. Also, at the wedding rehearsal at the church we realized that we had not ordered enough pew bows. My mom called Karen right away to request more and Karen made sure to have the extra bows at the church for wedding day.
Since I requested sunflowers Karen originally mentioned that she wanted to check to make sure that the sunflowers would be the good kind and have flat petals for the bouquet rather than the petals that stick forward. She got back to me right away to let me know her vendor said the sunflowers would be in season and beautiful and she wasn't lying. My bouquet was beyond my expectations as were all of the bouquets and arrangements. Even a week later my bouquet is still going strong!
