I could easily let Nick and Hannah’s photography speak for themselves, but when someone’s work is THAT good, you want to yell it from the rafters! It took less than 2 minutes scrolling through their Instagram to decide that these were the people we wanted to capture our big day. I have never seen more beautiful images in my entire life. We had the pleasure of working with them for our engagement shoot, and honestly, my now husband and I walked into it very nervous and uncomfortable to be in front of the camera. We truly had no idea what to expect since neither of us had had professional photos taken before. I can genuinely say that we both left feeling like the best versions of ourselves that evening. Yes, these two are insanely talented photographers, but they are more than that. They have the ability to make you get out of your comfort zone, all while making you feel in your element at the same time. It’s true witchcraft. Hannah is one of the kindest humans I have had the pleasure of meeting. She brings with her a sense of calmness that allows to you loosen up and have so much fun in the moment. Nick, is a force! We were enamored with his professionalism and his overall coolness. He truly sees the beauty in everything and is somehow able to extract that beauty in every photograph. When we got back our engagement photos we were shocked with how stunning they were. We know our wedding photos will be just as extraordinary. We feel so honored to be able to work with them during the some of happiest moments in our lives and we hope to continue to have them document the joyous moments in our future.

Where do I even begin?! From the moment we met Nick and Hannah for our engagement shoot, we knew they were something special. We picked a location we thought would work, but once we got there, we realized we didn’t fully understand the landscape — and yet, this amazing husband-and-wife duo immediately adapted and turned it into something absolutely magical. Not only did they deliver the most gorgeous engagement photos that we will cherish forever, but the entire shoot was actually SO much fun. We got to know them, laugh with them, and truly enjoy every second. It was hands-down the best photo experience we’ve ever had.

Of course, after that shoot, there was no hesitation — we booked them ASAP for our wedding. And OH. MY. GOODNESS. My jaw is STILL on the floor. The way Nick and Hannah captured our day is something out of a dream. Every detail, every glance, every laugh, every tear — documented so beautifully and with such artistic flair. They didn’t just take pictures — they captured our story.

They made us feel so seen, so comfortable, and so hyped up (literally all day and night!), and they made our entire bridal party feel the same. Their energy was unmatched, and they made everyone feel like a star — while still managing to keep everything relaxed and effortless.

What truly sets them apart is how real the moments feel. Nothing looks overly posed or stiff. Instead, each photo feels alive — like you're reliving the best day of your life all over again. They somehow freeze joy, love, and magic in time.

All we can say is WOW! There are not enough words to describe how awesome and amazing Hannah and Nick are. We were lucky to experience the Laning's at my nieces wedding last year, so when my daughter was getting married there was no question that she wanted the Laning's as well....best choice ever!
Hannah and Nick read my daughters personality perfectly. When taking her bridals they created a relaxed, fun and totally organic feel to their session, making her portraits truly one of a kind.

I have to start by saying that booking a photographer for our wedding was a daunting task. Trace and I had never taken professional couples photos and in general we aren’t big into taking photos of ourselves. I was so worried about looking stiff, awkward, and just not feeling comfortable taking wedding photos. I found the Lanings on instagram and was immediately drawn to their authenticity and style of photography. I took the leap and reached out to them. From the initial phone call with Hannah, I already knew they were the perfect people for the job! She really took the time to go through my vision and idea of what my day would look like, and made me feel comfortable from the start. We ended up booking them for the wedding and scheduled an engagement session. This was the best decision because we got to know them and vice versa! My excitement only grew after seeing our engagement photos! Nick and Hannah really do it all! Anything you need, they will make happen! They were able to make our wedding photo dreams come true. They will make sure to have all the traditional photos in addition to ones that are unique and personal! The wedding weekend was perfect, and they were there to capture it all! We even got a sneak peek a week after the wedding, and the photos blew us away! We can’t wait to see our full album! We cannot recommend the Lanings enough! If you haven’t booked them yet, do yourself a favor and pick the most talented and loving photographers!

Hannah and Nick are not only the best wedding photographers, but some of the most kind people! They were easy to work with from start to finish! They were communicative and extremely detailed. Our wedding planner recommended Laning Photography to us and it was a no brainer after seeing the work they do! Our photos turned out incredible and were exactly what we wanted! We got our sneak peeks literally the next day and we were totally obsessed (and once we got our whole album, we were even more obsessed)! If you're looking for 2 cool people to shoot your wedding/event, Nick and Hannah are them. We felt so comfortable with them shooting our wedding, and wish we could relive it again! Nicholas with laning photography did an amazing job with or photos. When we first hired him, we were on a time crunch to get out save the dates and he made extra effort to work with our schedule. His photos are gorgeous and he is able to put any color scheme or theme to fit the setting. His work has a very real and artistic feel to it. Nicholas also has a great attitude which helped with any stress that planning a wedding can come with. If I need any other photography session in the future, I will with no hesitation come back to Laning Photography.

Five stars is not high enough of a rating for Laning Photography. Nick and Hannah are purely amazing artists. Their photography is unlike any I've ever seen in the wedding industry; they set the bar high and you will NOT be disappointed if you hire them. They are so fun to work with; we enjoyed working with both of them so much! They bring their personalities into their work and are famous for capturing the moments brides and grooms want, but also moments that would likely go unnoticed by other photographers. Hands down, we'll hire them again any opportunity we get!

A husband and wife team. We unfortunately booked the Laning’s last minute however they worked hard to accommodate and didn’t miss a beat. Hannah walked in and had this overwhelming peace about her. I HATE having my picture taken, I’m a big time tomboy, with my fair share of insecurities, but she was so kind and made me feel SO comfortable, despite a minor panic attack (I just freaked at the thought of a ton of people looking at me 😒). Now enter Nick, he walks in and is HILARIOUS. A genius at his craft I can tell you that. I loved listening to him and Hannah run ideas off of one another. They worked so well with one another. We galloped through a field of camel poop together and they were both willing to do whatever it took to get the shots they envisioned and ensured I got everything I wanted. They seemed to have a good time and that helped a more natural flow of things. I would often ask for a picture with a family member or friend and they were always close by in our huge venue. The Laning’s also worked well and perfectly patient with my grumpy (grandpa) with end stage dementia, who had a difficult time. As I got teary a few times Nick would say “it’s okay to feel things,” and we would just continue on, and it WAS ok it was better than ok, it was perfect. They communicate wonderfully and answer any question you can throw at them as a nervous bride. I love their moody style pictures as I am not at all a light and airy bride, but I’ve seen they can master it all. They both were so excited to incorporate our cars, which are our babies. My only regret is not meeting them sooner and having an engagement shoot. I can’t say enough about how wonderful they are. My wedding coordinator LOVED working with them as this was her first time. My husband LOVED having them photograph our wedding, and it’s what he fought me hardest on.
(A “fancy” photographer) (however they were VERY affordable) If we had to do it all again, we would choose Laning Photography a million times over.
