Land O’ Goshen Farm Event Center is a wedding venue located in Goshen, Kentucky. Originally built in the 1940s, this pastoral barn has been renovated and supplied with modern conveniences for a charming and elegant event space. Situated on 375 acres of Belknap estate land, the barn is surrounded by rolling corn and bean fields and vast pastures. Encompassing this theme, the venue is farm-inspired with an open atmosphere.

Facilities and Capacity

The farm was bought in 1916 by William Belknap, the owner of Belknap Hardware and philanthropist of University of Louisville. Currently, it’s in the fourth generation’s hands and they have opened up the farm to newlyweds. Couples can host up to 200 of their friends and family in either an indoor or outdoor celebration. The main event space is a 6,700-square-feet, Amish-built barn complete with warm and rustic details. Its farm-style lighting, polished concrete floor, and designated catering and bar areas were designed with both couples and wedding service providers in mind. A 1500-square-foot wooden deck was built to supplement this grand event space with an outdoor area. For outdoor celebrations, the venue offers a 492-square-foot leisure area with string lights, whiskey barrel high tables, and wicker seating for couples and their loved ones to relax. To prepare for the big day, Land O’ Goshen Farm Event Center designed two distinct get-ready-rooms for to-be-newlyweds and their wedding party. The first room features full-length mirrors, a makeup bar area, rolling hanger racks, handmade shelves, and an attached bathroom. Decorated with leather and wood furnishings, the second room contains a large mirror, rolling hanger rack, and bar area to relax with loved ones. The Prep Room was carefully crafted with caterers in mind. It is complete with an industrial refrigerator, a three-compartment sink, an ice machine, large stainless steel work tables, oven warmers and warming sheets.

Services Offered

The Land O’ Goshen Farm Event Center can host engagement parties, wedding showers, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, receptions, and elopements. Couples have the option to bring their own decorations for a personal touch. A list of vendors can be supplied to help to-be-newlyweds with planning their event and outside service providers are welcome. The location’s parking lot can accommodate up to 52 cars and contains an area specifically designated for wedding party limousines and catering vans.
