  Made our day unforgettable!

  We had our wedding Land O’ Goshen Farm Event Center and I don’t think my husband or myself have enough words to tell you how special it was. Clair and Ian genuinely care about your experience and they want to make sure that your wedding is the most special time of your life. It is beautiful, easy, fun, unique, affordable, and fully encompasses the beauty/heart of Kentucky.
  
  We feel so blessed that we found LOG and we’d recommend it everyone, any day. Thank you Clair and Ian!!!! We love you guy

  Wonderful wedding reception with every detail covered

  We planned a wedding reception for October 2020 and then had to delay it due to Covid. Event staff was more than accommodating and then when we actually held reception it was perfect! I wish we could do it again and we would not change one thing!

  Everything went better than planned!

  Experiencing a wonderful venue.

  I attended a wonderful wedding at Land O Goshen Farm. The building was beautiful. The food and atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor activities. I would highly recommend Land O Goshen for your special day.

  Wonderful venue with great owners and beautiful views!

  My fiancé and I were lucky enough to be part of a wedding party for some friends who chose to use this venue. We had an amazing experience and the venue was absolutely beautiful. The owners were extremely accommodating and definitely helped make sure the bride and groom’s day went off without a hitch. The view from the back deck of the barn was amazing. The barn itself is where the reception was held, and there was absolutely not a better spot they could have picked. The inside of the barn was decorated extremely well and would be great for many different types of events. My fiancé and I are definitely going to be looking into using this for our wedding in the next year or so.

  Wedding that happened 09/11/21

  This place is amazing!! You will not be disappointed at all. They have rolling hills of beauty a large beautiful barn that was very cool inside (they have large fans and a huge breeze even in the sun), a beautiful deck that over looks the property, a sitting area on the side, and the inside is huge with tables tops that are made from wood that the owner and his friend made, it is gorgeous. It is easy to find and even seen our kids up petting some of the live stock. It is very relaxing. It is 10/ 5 stars ⭐️ if that is possible to do!! And the staff is with you the whole time for your every need and they even have security so you feel safe!!!! A must see!!!! Pics below tried to keep some of the wedding party out of pics, since I didn’t ask their permission.

  Clair and Ian are amazing! There is NO DRAMA- just a top quality experience!
  They want their guests to feel at home in this comfortable yet elegant space.
  
  The center has lots of special touches that set it apart from other venues we’ve seen.
  The farm setting is beautiful and the huge deck overlooking the farm is fantastic. It adds another unique dimension to the experience.
  This venue is perfect for the wedding and reception and so much more such as Derby parties, family reunions, conferences ...It will be our first choice!

  Amazing experience

  The venue is a beautiful rustic barn built with contemporary amenities and is finely furnished. The scenic views from the deck and the locust grove behind the barn provided a great back drop for the ceremony and photos. Excellent event overall.

  Heaven on Earth

  The facilities were beautiful, clean, and exactly as shown online providing a breathtaking setting with unbelievable photo opportunities. Ian, Clair, and staff were responsive to our every need with great communication. Our experience was bar none. I highly recommend Land O' Goshen Farm for any wedding or big event.

  Quaint wedding in the Derby City!

  We were guests at a gorgeous wedding last fall on the farm. The ceremony took place outside, with a backdrop of the rolling fields before the afternoon sun. Inside the Barn, a combination of Kentucky charm and timeless elegance awaited the crowd. After an excellent meal, we danced inside and out on the large deck until we stood at the railing to bask in the beauty of the night under the stars. I loved this place and hope we are invited to spend another enchanted evening on the farm. Definitely my favorite out of a lifetime of weddings attended.

  Renters beware

  Renters BEWARE! Owners are unprofessional, unkind, and disrespectful.
  
  My cousin booked Land O Goshen 18 months prior to her wedding day; including a setup day (Friday) and a clean-up day (Sunday).
  
  2 hours before set-up, the day before to the wedding, we were told we would be unable to set up…they had double booked the venue. That means at 7am, the day of the wedding, the bridal party (and out of town guests and family) spent hours setting up; something that should never have happened, seeing as the contract stated set-up was included in the rental of the facility.
  
  With an hour left to go, AT THE RECEPTION, we were informed that we had to pack-up everything that NIGHT, as the venue was double booked (AGAIN) on Sunday. The owner gave us their word that we would have plenty of time to return on Sunday to gather our belongings. Unbelievable.
  
  Additionally, the bathrooms smelled horrible, staff of Land O Goshen wore dirty clothing and helped themselves to several to-go boxes of leftover food from dinner.
  
  Pros: Land is lovely. Many places to take photos.
  
  Do NOT risk having your wedding day ruined by owners of a facility who will not honor what is in your contract. While this venue may be lovely, it is not worth the stress. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

  NOT what they expected.

  I attended a wedding this weekend (Saturday night) for a close relative. It was amazing; wonderful caterer (Volare Restaurant), great DJ, good bar, pretty venue.
  
  At the end of the evening, I noticed some tension among the parents of the bride/groom, the bride/groom, and the owners of the venue. It seems the people who own Land O'Goshen are not very honest and straight forward with their wedding clients. Over a year ago, the bridal family signed a contract (and prepaid) to reserve the location from Friday morning before until the Sunday after (three days to work on setup/takedown).
  
  The bride/groom were told Friday morning that the wedding party would NOT be allowed on site that day, as they had "mistakenly" booked another wedding and setup for this wedding on Saturday (to be held at 4:00) would have to wait until Saturday morning. They scrambled, got there early after celebrating at a rehearsal dinner Friday night, and the place looked beautiful.
  
  On Saturday night about an hour before the wedding was supposed to end, the venue owners told our newlyweds they needed to have everything cleared out as soon as the event ended on Saturday, as they had "mistakenly" booked a wedding there for Sunday. Everyone among our wedding host group had to scramble and help tear it all down right then/there, despite having a signed contract stating they can come back on Sunday and clean.
  
  Adding insult to injury, on Saturday night I also noticed the venue's owner repeatedly helping himself to the buffet line at the wedding - without asking or being asked by the wedding party to have some food (VERY pricey caterer - I know they wouldn't feed those who weren't guests). The guy was wearing dirty bluejeans and a filthy "Land O'Goshen" T-shirt from having worked there all day, and didn't think it mattered to him that he was mingling among those in a really dressy crowd.
  
  After looking at other wedding sites and seeing reviews of Land O'Goshen Farms, this behavior is NO EXCEPTION. The couple who own the place tell their bridal parties one story ("the place is yours all weekend, feel free to come Friday and Sunday"), and then do whatever they want to, to turn over as many parties as they can. They use a "good cop/bad cop" scenario - the female owner blames her husband for the "mistakes" - and he blames her.
  
  Thank goodness all the owners of Land O'Goshen had to do was provide a nice place, and they didn't ruin the affair by having anything else to do with it. It was sad to see our bride brought to tears at her own wedding because the actions of these people were so ruthless and dishonest. It was sad to see the parents of the bride and groom and some close family working so hard during their party to pack everything up when they just wanted to celebrate.
  
  DO NOT PATRONIZE LAND O'GOSHEN FARMS. Find more ethical and honest people. You will be glad you did.

  They will tell you what gets you in the door.

  I feel as though they kind of baited and switched me. We had spend thousands of dollars and probably 10-15 man hours assembling heaters after the owners approval of patio style radiant heaters for use in the barn because it was sold as an "open air venue" then was told day of we couldn't use them in the venue because of "carbon dioxide poisoning"... yes that not monoxide. They had months to say something, pictures of what we intended to use, and language indicating we intended to use them inside but did nothing until after they were unloaded and turned on for the first time. Then I offered to buy indoor safe rated ones (the Buddy style heaters) and was told the same thing... "carbon dioxide poisoning". I would not have chosen the venue knowing what I know now. I would not recommend.

We had spend thousands of dollars and probably 10-15 man hours assembling heaters after the owners approval of patio style radiant heaters for use in the barn because it was sold as an "open air venue" then was told day of we couldn't use them in the venue because of "carbon dioxide poisoning"... yes that not monoxide. They had months to say something, pictures of what we intended to use, and language indicating we intended to use them inside but did nothing until after they were unloaded and turned on for the first time. Then I offered to buy indoor safe rated ones (the Buddy style heaters) and was told the same thing... "carbon dioxide poisoning". I would not have chosen the venue knowing what I know now. I would not recommend.

  Disappointment

  It is with great dismay that I suggest not using this beautiful facility because of it's ownership. Clair and Ian have a thing going on where they play good cop/bad cop in explaining why they double and triple book their venue. It is hard to believe that such a thing can happen ACCIDENTALLY as they suggested. How a calendar identifying who is booked when does not exist for a business of this nature is mind baffling but apparently that is the case here. Leads me to believe that in fact they knew exactly what events were when and they simply didn't care to communicate to their clients. Perhaps it is due to something as simple as GREEDINESS coupled with thoughtlessness for the people they claim to care about - the people who book their venue. VERY disappointing experience as a result!
