Laken is the best! I am so thankful we chose her to capture our special day! Beautiful photos were on the top of my list. As my new hubby and I spend our lives together we will have our wonderful memories captured that we can share with everyone we love. I especially love the way she captures color. Laken has this amazing way about her, she is caring and fun and she makes you feel super comfortable even if you don't like to be in front of the camera. We have become friends since my wedding and I feel lucky to have her in my life.

Laken is so much fun to work with! She makes the picture taking process (My husband and I both aren't fans of having our photos taken) smooth, easy, and comfortable.

We could not have asked for a better photographer. Laken did our engagements and wedding and i will always go back to her for anything else from here on out. Our experience with Laken Fulton was wonderful in the beginning and turned into disappointment in the end. Words cannot express the disappointment that we feel after finally receiving our wedding photos nearly 10 weeks later. My husband, family, and I spent a great deal of time and money to design the wedding of our dreams in just a short amount of time. With my dad being diagnosed with terminal cancer we knew that time is not one that is on our side and Laken knew that from the start. Our family worked hard to bring our vision to life within a couple months and we would love to have photos of the work they did for us. Laken provided no photos of centerpieces, gift table, guest book area, and several other special moments of our wedding. Many focal moments are lacking such as most of our getting ready photos, processional, ceremony, and reception photos. There are hardly any pictures of our wonderful guests who planned a trip quickly to come and celebrate with us. We had put a lot of time into figuring out who our vendors were going to be. When hiring Laken at first it seemed like a no-brainer, but we were disappointed with the final product. After the wedding, she became more unresponsive and harder to get in touch with. We received our photos almost 10 weeks after the wedding. Even our ONE thank you photo that we wanted to send to guests took 7 weeks. In our eyes that is unacceptable. A wedding is a special day for everyone. Only having a handful of photos to look back on is not only frustrating but also incredibly sad. It brings tears to my eyes when I think about all the things that are missing. Don’t get me wrong, there are some beautiful photos…but when you only have five from your first dance, one of your best man giving a heartfelt toast, three of your husband getting ready for his big day, none of the bridal party getting ready, and only a handful of the people who did SO much for you…. it’s not worth the $2,700.

My husband and I spent a great deal of time and money to design the wedding of our dreams. Our coordinators worked hard to bring our vision to life and we would love to have photos of the work they did for us. She provided no photos of centerpieces, wedding party table, gift table and several other special moments of a wedding. Many focal moments are missing such as most of our processional and wedding party lineup. The bouquet toss, cake cutting and other cherished moment are very blurry and discolored. I am not a professional but she claims her delay was editing....wouldn't that typically include cropping our faces that are half cut off? Adjusting color to reduce grainy, purple tint? Our photos are so over exposed that the natural pink sky in our sunset photos looks white and we are all super faded. We took great care in hiring our vendors and Laken was very energetic prior to getting our contract, after paying 1/2 down she became nearly unavailable for engagement session and very unresponsive once she was paid in full! It took 2 months to receive a sneak peek and even longer to receive our gallery. Laken's contract included the rehearsal but she did not attend and canceled as my guests were arriving, just hours after asking me the time and place....again. We regretfully trusted her to capture our memories and encourage all to diligently research before hiring your photographer....actual wedding or styled shoot photos on webpages? are reviews current? and please speak to past clients! Had we done this we would not be in this situation. You can form your own opinion from the photos attached but we can never recommend anyone go through what we have.
