Jill is a wonderful photographer who knows exactly what she's doing! She pinpoints all the right moments and captures all the perfect angles, lighting, action shots, and candid shots and every photo turns out wonderful. Her editing is beautiful and detailed and she even works hard to give you sneak peaks the same night of the photoshoot! I highly recommend her to be your wedding photographer or for any other special event.

Due to Covid issues we had a few curve balls thrown at us. Jill handled them with professionalism, grace, and humor. We had a wonderful experience using Jill as our photographer. Jill was the best part of our wedding experience. She did an amazing job. From engagement pictures, to bridals, to telling my husband that he was “advanced” at posing. She was wonderful and made us feel so comfortable and at ease. I would recommend her to anyone! She’s the best.

Jill truly captured every detail of our wedding day in quality photographs that we can cherish for the rest of our lives. If there were one thing I would recommend to make all of your hard work wedding planning worth it I would say hire a professional photographer. That professional would be Jill. She got every detail she could find at our venue, from the decorations I spent countless hours hunting, to the cake, to the moment we said our vows it is all there for us to relive through her beautiful photographs. She is kind and patient, punctual and professional. She communicated a timeline to me for pictures that I actually used to create the agenda for the wedding and reception. She shot our couple and family photos in record time so that we did not keep our guests waiting too long (although I'd recommend letting her guide you through the amount of time you should take for this). We really loved having her and I will not recommend anyone else, because I have seen what just one thing left unconsidered can do to a wedding day. She thinks of everything and turns your vision into a reality. We still feel like we are dreaming, when we look at the lovely moments she captured. From our very 1st meeting, my husband & I knew Jill was the one. She was inquisitive by way of wanting to get to know us so she could provide a personalized portfolio for us. From the very beginning she was there to answer questions, provide guides for us (such as questionnaires), and was also very helpful as far as suggestions for the best locations for engagement shoots and bridal portraits. Even down to the presentation of our portfolio, the unique and beautiful ways she photographed our rings, wedding day decor, & poses with our wedding party and family, EVERYTHING was beautiful perfection. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jill and her company, Lainey Bug Photography. From the get-go Jill was so responsive, organized, and helpful! Not to mention flexible. After we had already nailed down my date my sister discovered she was due with her first baby within just a few days of my wedding, so ultimately we had to postpone our wedding date a few weeks. Jill was so sweet and accommodating and was able to change the dates for me.
I met her for the first time during my Bridal Portrait session and all my wonderful first impressions were confirmed. She was prompt, prepared, and overall lovely to work with. I received my portraits back very quickly and I was so happy with the work. Leading up to the big day she was communicating with me almost on a daily basis and was so helpful in being able to organize all the shots I wanted so that we could maximize time and still allow Trevor and I to live in the moment. Jill and her assistant were also so good at corralling our big families which was no easy task. We received our completed wedding gallery in a very impressive time and honestly, I look at the photos everyday. She captured everything, all the best moments and I just cannot thank her or recommend Jill enough!
