Great food from a true professional

Best Wedding Caterer

Victor and Coral were a pleasure to work with. When we first were looking at caterers I had to have a friend do the tasting because I lived out of state- he said Victor had the best fish tacos he'd ever eaten. When I went to the La Colonia taco truck to scope it out a couple months later, Victor was there and gave us everything on the house. He sat with me and my family and chatted with us about his work and his family- he is the nicest man! Coral coordinated with me via email and was extremely responsive- she worked with me on our guests dietary restrictions and planning the setup for the wedding. They were flexible when I wanted to switch things up with what flatware we used (I used a mix of rentals, their stuff, and items I bought for our tables). At the wedding we had a bit of chaos (our fault- not the caterers!) and the team was patient and worked with us/our coordinator to get it done. We had tray passed appetizers/chips and salsa bar, three kinds of tacos, and sides. Everyone raved about how good the food was- the whole night was a success! Definitely recommend.

Amazing Team

SO glad we went with La Colonia for our wedding. Our wedding was on a fairly remote ranch, and Victor and his team did everything imaginable to make it as easy and worry free for us. Worried about rain and last minute shifts in logistics? Victor offered to come up the day before to assess the situation and get things in ahead of time as needed. Last minute additions to the menu or late night snacks? Shoot an email to Victor, and he says "good idea - here's how I'd suggest we do it, and I can handle all of it!". On the day, Victor was a confident, smiling, reassuring presence amongst the inevitable chaos of other late-morning preparations, the food (and churros and hot chocolate!) were exceptional, and the bartenders were super friendly, going along with the many strange requests from us and our guests. Overall, an incredible team to have partnered with, and who played a HUGE role in making our wedding the dream it was. Thank you Victor, Coral, and all the team!

The absolute best food and Service around

We had the absolute joy of having Victor and his incredible team cater our three-day wedding weekend at Wildhaven in Healdsburg, and we could not be more grateful. From start to finish, everything was flawless.

Victor provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 90 guests across the entire weekend, and every single meal was thoughtful, delicious, and perfectly executed. The highlight was our Saturday night seated, family-style wedding dinner—an unforgettable feast that felt both elevated and deeply personal.

What truly set Victor apart was not just the quality of the food, but the quality of his presence. He and his team managed to be available and attentive at every turn while never once feeling intrusive. It was seamless, graceful service that allowed us to relax completely and simply enjoy being with our guests.

Victor brought a sense of ease, care, and professionalism to one of the most important weekends of our lives, and the result was beyond anything we could have dreamed. If you are considering him for any event, do not hesitate—you will be in the very best hands.

Top Tier Service and Food!

We had the pleasure of working with La Colonia Catering for a corporate event, and I can’t recommend them enough! From the very beginning, communication was clear, responsive, and easy, they made the planning process stress-free.

On the day of the event, setup and breakdown were handled smoothly and efficiently, which made everything seamless for our team. The staff was friendly, professional, and such a pleasure to work with.

And of course, the food was absolutely incredible! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was. The flavors, quality, and presentation truly elevated the experience.

If you’re looking for a catering team that delivers on all fronts, amazing food, professionalism, and outstanding service... La Colonia is the one to choose!

Perfect wedding reception

Victor and team are incredible! The entire process working with them was really smooth and our guests raved over the flautas appetizers and taco buffet that we had for our reception. They'll work with you to create the right menu for your event and can do a wide range of dishes. Victor was also really helpful in the lead up to the event, coming to the venue with us to get a lay of the land, helping us figure out the right floor plan for the buffet to serve guests quickly, and even helping us find bartending staff as well. He can also help source tableware and flatware. We're so grateful for Victor and the entire team and we'll be returning to the taco truck in Santa Rosa for lunches and dinners in the future!
