I can't say enough great things about our wedding experience with Labarcaza. The entire experience from booking, to the actual wedding day was exceptional. Agota was so extremely helpful in getting everything organized in the months leading up to our trip, and the team on the day of, executed the day like absolute professionals. The food, drinks, music, atmosphere were amazing! I wouldn't change one moment, thank you Labarcaza! ❤️

I’m not sure where to start with this review. Firstly if anyone is considering booking La Barcaza for a wedding or event just do it! We booked our wedding for 16th December 2024 just less than a year ago. The correspondence with Agota from start to finish has been the absolute best, she is friendly, informative, professional, and just utterly lovely answering my ongoing queries, some really random ones. Payment, once you stop being technophobe like me, was really easy through WISE.

Fast forward to the day of the wedding, Helouise (our Punta Cana based wedding co-ordinator) was also super friendly, organised, and professional. She made sure it was her job to stress, not mine (not that there was any hic ups or anything to stress about). She was an absolute diamond.

We did the beach wedding, and the beach was set up beautifully, with a gorgeous gazebo, two massive floral arrangements included as well as chairs with covers for around 30 guests. Looked stunning and the setting was absolutely idyllic.

Things which I remember being curious about before hand “Will I get wet on the speedboat?” – NO – the lovely guys bringing in the speedboat carry the bride onto the boat and they go so slow from beach to boat/boat to beach that you don’t feel any spray whatsoever. “Do we need a DJ to have fun” – NO – if your party is bigger and you wish to then that would be a bonus, but we absolutely didn’t for our small group. “Will we get sea sick” – NO – we had people on board who do suffer, but La Barcaza stays by the natural pools, and is so still you don’t feel anything, even travelling back to Jellyfish beach you don’t really feel much movement.

The cake was absolutely gorgeous and sooooo tasty, and definitely catered for more than the 11 people we paid for.

The La Barcaza staff on board our boat were absolutely gorgeous, so friendly (we got big hugs upon departure), couldn’t do enough for us constantly asking if anyone needed drinks etc and the food was out of this world. Everyone on board said it was the nicest meal of their holiday. So much food too, I felt guilty leaving quite a bit but the adrenalin just meant I was so full. My only regret is not getting the extra hour, as our time sure did fly by and my little boy would have liked longer having a swim after our wedding/reception meal. That being said, timings of our wedding meant that shortly after we were headed back the weather did cool a little and everyone was so tired on the way back after our 3 hour cruise that it did work well.

The cake was absolutely beautiful and sooooo tasty and definitely fed more than the 11 people it was paid for.

La Barcaza ensured we had the most perfect and beautiful day and we will be forever grateful. Thank you once again, all who were involved with the planning and on the day itself. We can’t ever thank you enough. Natalia, Ian and our little Liam. x

I had a five star experience with them. From the food on the boat which was excellent to the private beach experience. Everything was fun and professional. The pictures came out excellent which we used their photographers. Also we also had a driver assigned to pick us up and drop us off as well. Dj drinks you name it. A the price for everything was really good. They even offered to provide witnesses and everything. I would definitely recommended again

Our guests enjoyed the food, drinks and music with the amazing backdrop!

Ceremony location/setup was beautiful and we pretty much had the beach all to ourselves. (No bystanders with bathing suits!!!) However, it was really hot (no breeze), so good thing we had paper fans for our guests and some brought handheld fans. We also added popsicles for dessert to cool off on the boat!

Highly recommend for anyone that wants a unique wedding!!

We were going back and forth whether to do a dinner or a boat party for our welcome party and when we saw La Barcaza and all the positive reviews we knew we had to book this. Booking was extremely easy and the communication was seamless. The team was able to accommodate everything from the food/alcohol, to hours we will be on the boat, to the music we wanted, everything! There was never any issues from the booking, selecting the menus, all the way to picking us up from our hotel. We had about 100 people on the boat and the staff were super helpful and took care of everything we wanted. The DJ played great music and had all of the guests dancing the entire time. The food was amazing and came out at the perfect time, and the drinks were flowing. I know it says its recommended to book the extra hour and I could not agree more. You will regret not doing the extra hour like we did! This event was all the wedding guests were talking about the rest of the week. Thank you again to the amazing staff, you took amazing care of us. You should be booking La Barcaza yesterday, do not wait up!

Everything went well. I was sooo nervous that something was not going to go right. I read the reviews on trip advisor and they were all great which made me decide to go with this company. Daniel communicated very well since day one and was very patient with me, as I had a lot of questions and a couple changes to the reservation. All the staff was nice, the boat was clean, the food was good, and the DJ was on point. Everyone had a great time.

First word that comes in my mind when I think of La Barcaza is : AMAZING!!!

We got married with La Barcaza in August . First of all, it took us 8 months to plan this wedding. We sent tones of emails to Daniel during all those months and he was so patient with us, explaining everything and answering our questions. The communication with him was so easy.

We decided to bring our own decoration and once we land in Punta Cana, someone from la Barcaza came to our hotel and picked up the decoration to bring on the boat. That was so easy and appreciated. The day of the wedding, a problem with the bus occured and Daniel took steps rapidly to make this up.

I was so stressed to give that amount of money to someone I didn't even know. But I'm telling you, don't hesitate to trust Daniel and his team. The wedding was perfect on the beach. Even with the rain. It was magical.

The photographer was so nice and the pictures are amazing with the sunset. Food on the boat was very good. We chose the VIP Premium package and we did not regret our choice. My wedding cake was gorgeous and tasted so good! Service was very good and a special thanks to Anamaria for the kindness and the mamajuana shooters!!

Don't hesitate to take extra hours. It's worth it! Th DJ was on fire and everybody danced all night! The party was insane and it continued on the bus when we returned to the hotel.

My guests told me that it's the best wedding they've ever attend to and that they will never forget it.

A little think I would recommend to La Barcaza : repair the clothes that protect us from the rain on the first floor because it was leeking a lot. Other than that everything was perfect :)

We chartered with La Barcaza for a wedding welcome party. The staff was very friendly, the food was AMAZING, and we had a great time partying the day away! They are competitively priced, especially with the amazing meal that was included. We had the "Fishermans Grill" menu, and some of our guests who don't even typically eat seafood ate their whole plate! Everyone had a blast snorkeling and swimming, and the very hot day felt much much cooler under the shade of the boats first floor. From the booking process to the trip itself, we highly recommend booking this company!

We chose Labarcaza to host a pre-wedding catamaran experience for our entire group of guests. The entire experience was absolutely amazing. The transport from the hotel was simple and flawless. The boat was large and spacious offering shade or no shade areas. The food and drink on the boat was amazing. We stopped near a sand bar halfway through experience and hung out and drank in the water. It was an incredible experience and the staff on the boat was fun and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone. Perfect for large group events or weddings.
