I cannot recommend L&F Design & Sewing Studio enough! Carolyn was amazing! Not only is she extremely talented and thorough, but she is so great to work with! She looked and every little detail of my dress and made sure it was absolutely perfect. My dress had a lot of lace and needed quite a bit of alterations, so she ended up spending hours working to make my dress perfect for me. She had to remove the lace piece by piece, alter the dress, and sew the lace back on. The dress fit me like a glove! I’m so happy I chose to work with Carolyn after she came highly recommended by a friend. If you are anywhere near the Columbus area, I highly recommend you take your wedding dress here. Carolyn did an amazing job with my dress. She hemmed two layers, fixed the illusion shoulders, brought in the waist, and put in a beautiful french bustle. She sold me veil as well. The week before the wedding she was also able to get the bridesmaids dresses altered. She was very kind and quick and good at her job. We heard some of our other vendors recommend her.

I hired Carolyn to alter my Jim Hjelm dress I bought at Luxe Reduxe Bridal. Luckily Carolyn saw me right away when we originally talked with her to schedule an appointment because sI didn't even know that we could buy more fabric for my dress and that this was time sensitive! I knew my dress was too small and would need to be altered, however unfortunately after visiting Carolyn I realized that I would need to have a panel built in the back of the dress. Carolyn seemed very professional and knowledgable and also noticed a few other alterations I will need. She immediately texted the store manager and had them look into ordering the fabric to do all of the alterations. She was very responsive during the process of ordering the fabric and I was able to order what I needed within a few days. Carolyn also gave me other, less expensive, options for my dress like adding a courset in the back of the dress or removing fabric from the train so I didn't have to buy fabric (these options were cheaper and easier but she assured me that the best look would be adding a panel). Carolyn has a super flexible schedule and is seeing me on Saturdays. She was also very clear with her pricing, which seems reasonable. Although I am nervous to have so many altercations done, she is very confident and I am looking forward to seeing my completed dress!

Carolyn was great to work with for altering my wedding dress and broke down the price of each item. Very friendly and professional. I was even able to have a few other items altered as well with a very quick turn over. Definitely worth driving all the way to Pataskala from Clintonville!
