Had used two friendors originally to do our flowers. Both fell through, so with 9 days until my wedding I followed 2 recommendations to talk to Jeff at this Kroger location. I'm so glad I did, he got me an appointment the same day. We spent close to an hour talking and he didn't rush me through the process. He really listened and seemed to get what we wanted. He had a porfolio book full of past work and even more ideas on his phone. I showed him a pinterest photo and he said it'd be no problem getting in the exact flower I wanted for my bouquet. He also let me bring in my own vases and use those. It was actually one of the funnest bridal appointments I'd had. He is knowledgable and works with you I would recommend Jeff and I can't wait to see my bouquet!

The flowers at our wedding were so beautifully done by Jeff and his team at the Kroger of West University. They really listen to what you envision for the wedding. We were so pleased. The prices are so reasonable and the quality of the flowers were amazing. I'm so glad that we chose to work with Jeff and his team.
Highly recommend!!!!

I used Kroger for my wedding flowers, including my bouquet and corsages/boutonnieres. The value was exceptional - $150 for a bridal wedding bouquet, flower girl petals, 6 boutonnieres, and 4 corsages. I was initially worried because some of the tulips in my bouqet had some slight discoloration, but this was not noticable after the tulips opened up. I would absolutely recommend Kroger for wedding flowers!

Jeff was easy to work with and had helpful ideas. He was not pushy at all, and was receptive to all of my requests and edits that I would make to my flower list. The floral department always has a wonderful selection of flowers that are excellent quality, and at least 1/2 the price of what a "boutique" florist would charge. There were times when I had to leave messages with his assistants because he was out of the store, but I was always able to get ahold of him via email. I provided the vases and told him how I wanted things to look. They delivered the arrangments on time and everything looked spectacular! Best of all, he did this on short notice (one month before the wedding), since the person I was thinking about using (Lynn Bauman) turned into NIGHTMARE to work with. Anyway, Jeff definitely saved the day! Please ask for him if you want beautiful flowers at a great price.

For all of the brides-to-be: Beware of my ex-florist, Mr. Lynn Bauman, and his disgusting/awful business etiquette. Big mistake. I hate to be nasty about vendors, but Mr. Bauman didn't even have an invoice ready for me ONE MONTH before the wedding (February 21, 2009), and this after trying to deal with him and waste my time trying to follow up with him starting back in October 2008!! He was always too busy taking care of his other business ventures, but you better believe he had a ridiculous invoice ready to hand me the DAY AFTER I fired him from our verbal contract. If only he were that prompt when I continuously asked him to respond to questions/requests/concerns that I had all along. According to Lynn, said invoice was charging for things such as giving me the name of a wholesale store that sells flower vases--which I went to MYSELF and paid full price for (he and his wholesale license did not accompany me), for my driving across town at his request to meet him at times and places that were only convenient for him, and for all of his time that he spent planning on the flower arrangements for my wedding (which was probably close to around 1 hour worth of work since he could never give me a correct itemized invoice and/or the total estimated cost of my requested flowers). The worst $140 I ever spent in my life. Shame on Lynn for having such sad customer service and shame on me for wasting my time. Avoid this man like the plague, and on a brighter note, go to Jeff instead!

Jeff Bass is the floral manager at Kroger. He was by far the best value of all the floral quotes I got. I got the bouquets, boutineers and corsages through them. Everything looked GREAT.

One thing they missed is that they asked me if the mothers of the bride and groom wanted wrist or pin on corsages. I requested wrist, but pin on were given. If they hadn't asked beforehand it wouldn't have mattered (but they did ask and didn't make it right).

I also got the flowers for my wedding cake through them, but the cake topper was not what you would expect a cake topper to be. Usually they're one piece constructed with a foam base. The way they made it was they had 4 small flower bunches and you had to put them together to make the round cake topper. The flowers weren't full enough for a cake topper, so the cake designer had to use the side tiers of the cake and use it on the top.

All in all, they're a great value. I have had 3 friends use them based on my recommendation and they were all very pleased. I would use Jeff again, don't get me wrong the complaints I have are valid, but minor over all. The cake still came out looking great and the moms didn't mind the pin on corsages.
