Katelyn is amazing to work with! I remember being nervous for our engagement shoot, worried that it would be awkward since we didn't know her. Within minutes of meeting Katelyn it felt like we had known her for years! She is so easy-going and down to earth and just makes you feel so comfortable. I can’t say enough about Katelyn! She made the whole experience, starting with our engagement session, so laid-back and fun! After our ceremony, my husband (who has always been anti-picture-taking) was even giggling and having a great time posing for pictures! Katelyn was warm, friendly, and made us feel comfortable from the beginning. She spent hours taking our engagement photos capturing lots of different poses in several locations. We got our engagement pictures back in 1-2 weeks and were extremely pleased with how they turned out. After this experience, I felt very confident in Katelyn's skills and was really excited for her to shoot our wedding. We were not disappointed. She and a second shooter arrived on time and prepared with lots of ideas having surveyed our venue in advance. Katelyn was assertive and direct in handling competing factors (e.g. bride and groom being pulled in different directions, dwindling sunlight) to ensure that we got our photos in. She posted a 30+ photo "sneak peak" the day after our wedding and we received a downloadable version of all our photos in just under a month after the wedding. We are also expecting a USB copy of the photos in the mail. The photos look amazing! Katelyn is overall warm, professional, talented, and her services are comparably very affordable. We are so happy we chose KPD Photography for our engagement and wedding photos!
