Katelyn is amazing to work with! I remember being nervous for our engagement shoot, worried that it would be awkward since we didn't know her. Within minutes of meeting Katelyn it felt like we had known her for years! She is so easy-going and down to earth and just makes you feel so comfortable. She is also unbelievably fast both while taking the pictures and with getting your edited prints to you afterwards. All of our friends and family constantly commented about being in disbelief at how quickly she got our photos to us for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. Not only is she fast but every picture is absolutely amazing. Her prints truly are pieces of art and she really captures every detail of your day. I loved that she really got to know Andrew and I and wanted to incorporate our personal touches into each picture. She is incredibly talented and I would 100% recommend her to anyone! If you are looking for a reasonable, fun, amazingly talented photographer in the Maryland region, definitely look into KPD! -

I can’t say enough about Katelyn! She made the whole experience, starting with our engagement session, so laid-back and fun! After our ceremony, my husband (who has always been anti-picture-taking) was even giggling and having a great time posing for pictures! Also, we are completely in love with all of our photos! 10000% recommend! -

Katelyn was warm, friendly, and made us feel comfortable from the beginning. She spent hours taking our engagement photos capturing lots of different poses in several locations. We got our engagement pictures back in 1-2 weeks and were extremely pleased with how they turned out. After this experience, I felt very confident in Katelyn's skills and was really excited for her to shoot our wedding. We were not disappointed. She and a second shooter arrived on time and prepared with lots of ideas having surveyed our venue in advance. Katelyn was assertive and direct in handling competing factors (e.g. bride and groom being pulled in different directions, dwindling sunlight) to ensure that we got our photos in. She posted a 30+ photo "sneak peak" the day after our wedding and we received a downloadable version of all our photos in just under a month after the wedding. We are also expecting a USB copy of the photos in the mail. The photos look amazing! Katelyn is overall warm, professional, talented, and her services are comparably very affordable. We are so happy we chose KPD Photography for our engagement and wedding photos! -

We were nervous for our engagement session as we’re not very photogenic people but she made us feel so comfortable and got us into all the cute poses like a pro! With beautifully edited pictures we ordered save the dates and began our wedding planning process. Katelyn was so helpful every step of the way with vendor recommendations, help with making a timeline, etc. Come to the wedding and she kept everyone laughing and intrigued with her down to earth personality! Our previews were back within 24 hours and the pictures are breaktaking, we are dying to see the full gallery!! All of our friends and family still rave about how great they are and we always get “I don’t know how much you paid for her, but she was worth every penny.” Much love to KPD! -
