Karna says she has a magic camera, but it is truly her talent that works magic. I was planning a last-minute wedding and mentioned to a coworker that I needed a photographer, and she immediately said, "you have to hire Karna, you won't be disappointed!" And not only did Karna not disappoint, but she far exceeded our expectations. We were planning a destination wedding in Lake Tahoe and Karna rose to the challenge of photographing in an unfamiliar location for her. Moreover, we were concerned about the lighting for our outdoor wedding among the trees and mountains--Karna took this very seriously, did her research, and scouted out multiple areas to be able to help us schedule our wedding events perfectly to capture the shots that we envisioned.

I have to admit that I waited quite some time to look at her photos after the wedding because the day was so beautiful in my mind, I was afraid the pictures would make my memories less magical. But I was thrilled to see Karna's gorgeous photos that not only captured the entire day, but also somehow magnified emotions and details that I otherwise would have missed.

Karna is not just an amazing photographer, but she is a lovely, kind, genuine person who is responsive, flexible, and very easy to work with. Two of my close friends hired Karna for their weddings and I thought their photos were so unique and beautiful I knew I wanted her to be our wedding photographer as well. Karna has a way of making you feel comfortable from the moment you first speak to her, very bubbly and it feels like you already know her.

My husband was not looking forward to taking engagement photos but left saying how much fun he had and how much he liked Karna. We thought of the engagement photos as a practice for the big day but fell in love with a lot of the photos and were so impressed by them!

Before the wedding Karna gave us a shot list and she made sure every shot and grouping of family/friends was taken which I really appreciated. My partner and I used Karna's services for our wedding and it's safe to say it was the best decision we made. I'll admit I was skeptical at first because she isn't cheap, but without a doubt this is a perfect case of you get what you pay for. Karna's attention to detail consistently blew my mind. She has an exceptional eye for all the little things that you'd never otherwise consider but they all result in incredible shots. She's also very easy to work with and very accommodating.

When you're planning a wedding much less on the day of the wedding, it makes such a difference having someone like Karna taking your pictures. She knows what to do and how to do it and where to always be to get that perfect shot. When we sat down a few weeks after the day and looked at the pictures we were blown away by the perfect angles and lighting she was able to get. I'm completely naive when it comes to photography and I initially was thinking of having someone take pics on their iPhone...boy would that have been a bad call. The pictures we have now are night and day difference to anything we could have gotten on an iPhone.

Not only are Karna of KMR Photography's photos absolutely gorgeous, she is so warm and friendly that it was impossible to get nervous in front of the camera. She was just so reassuring and professional about everything that we knew that we would be looking our best in the wedding photos and that we would be able to cherish all of those memories for years to come! It's so important to find a photographer who you can trust and feel comfortable around (as well as taking beautiful photos of course!) and Karna exceeded every possible expectation. She was extremely prompt in getting the photos to us (even puts a preview up within 7 days on her blog!) and the photos themselves are absolutely breathtaking.
