Our wildflower honey favors are perfect for any wedding, party, or event. They tie in the local sweetness of North Carolina beekeeping with an elegant and eco-friendly feel. We have three different types of glass jars to choose from for your big day: 2 ounce hexagon jars, 3 ounce skep jars, and 4 ounce muth jars. We offer customized labels for the 2 ounce and 3 ounce jars for a small fee, but these jars are great for DIY!

We run our bee hives within Orange and Alamance counties and sell our honey to many customers throughout the United States. All of our bees are from local North Carolina stock and forage on the natural blooms in the area. In our apiary, we see a great deal of wildflower nectar being brought in, including clover, tulip poplar, blackberry, black locust, and other native plants; this makes for delicious light honey every spring and summer, and a darker, richer honey in the fall. The bees are treated with only organic pest controls, and the honey is raw, straight from the hive with nothing added. North Carolina is famous for its amazing honey, and it can be a hard to find treat.

King Cobra Apiary was started in 2015 by Ali Iyoob with a few hives and a vision for something larger. As a first generation farmer, he cashed out his 401k to buy bee equipment, and invested everything he could back into the operation. Ali spent countless long days and nights raising up and managing for the most productive honey bees possible, which allowed King Cobra Apiary to prosper into one of the larger commercial honey bee operations in the area.

In early 2016, Ali met Alicia Ballard, another beekeeper, and the two teamed up as business partners and as a couple. They spent many sleepless nights together building product inventory, researching market strategies, and figuring out how to run a successful business. King Cobra Apiary has faced many challenges over the years, but has overcome these obstacles with hard work, dedication, and a passion to produce a quality product.
