My first experience with engraving was from a few years back when I bought my partner a bottle of perfume she had yearned for since high school. The perfume was a special gift because it represented how our lives had changed over the years; from two high schoolers who could barely afford gas to full-fledged adults who could afford a higher-end bottle of perfume. To commemorate this gift, I engraved her name on the bottle and she still keeps it even though it has long been empty. Engraving adds personalization and intention to every gift. This experience inspired me to pursue ways to give that experience to others.
