Kelsea is simply the best in the business! She has an eye for the details and makes it her mission to get every shot you've imagined and mentioned. She did our engagement photos, a boudoir session, and all of our wedding photos. She is the most laid back, fun photographer I've ever worked with! High quality photos like hers are an investment that are worth every penny.

We Hired Kelsea for our wedding last July and couldn't ask for a more amazing Photographer!! I Loved that she understood how I wanted our wedding to go, also having everything thought of ahead of time with checklists so it was smooth sailing the whole wedding. She also has the patients of a goddess!!!!! We had quite a few drinkers in our bridal party and she handled it like a TRUE professional. Our photos came out amazing and she truly captured the essence of my husband and I, our love for each other, and love for our friends and family.

Kelsea has been capturing all my big moments for years now; engagement, wedding, 2 maternity shoots and at least one mini session. My wedding was obviously the biggest event she captured and she had terrible conditions to work with - the area that we were married was socked in with wild fire smoke and cast an orange hue to everything. She was able to edit our images to perfection, leaving a trace of the smoke but clarifying the colors and clarity to still make them look beautiful. I mean at least I assume that's what she did, they came back looking great from a day with really lousy conditions.

So not only does she give us the best keepsakes, but the experience was fantastic. She was on schedule and actually kind of directed our wedding, keeping us on track and advising us on what we should be doing next kind of stuff. She's just so experienced and knows how things should flow at a wedding, and not just photography related.

I keep coming back for more because a) I love her personality and the fun and ease she brings to our sessions, b) I want to print / frame ALL of the edited images she provides (which actually makes it difficult to decide what to frame because there are just so many great shots, but I think that's a good problem), c) she's thorough, very detail oriented, and sends out questionnaires and a whole packet of information for wedding photography which I loved because she really thinks of it all, and d) Kelsea just keeps getting better and better -- better at coaching us to look our best, giving me hair and makeup tips (that I now employ in my day to day life), better at putting us in flattering poses and in the best lighting, keeping us comfortable, and overall improving her already immense skill and talent as a photographer.

Booking Kelsea or our wedding was the BEST decision we made by far. She was so flexible and organized. As a fellow organization junkie, knowing that she had all the specific shots I wanted written and time out made my heart flutter. She took what could have been a very stressful situation and made it a breeze. I don't normally like having my picture taken, but Kelsea's sense of humor and kind soul won me over immediately. She captured all the details of that day so well. Cannot wait for her to continue capturing the little moments for our family.

Finding an amazing wedding photographer was one of my top priorities for my wedding. Kelsea and I went to high school together and I was able to view her work through social media over the years so when it came to choosing my photographer I knew I had to have her! My husband and I couldn't be happier about that decision! She got to know both James and I, made sure to find out family dynamics and found a way to make wedding pictures with each other and our wedding party effortless and enjoyable!

Knowing nothing about photographers in the Eugene area, I stumbled across Kelsea's website and immediately admired her work. As a fellow photographer, I recognized her talent for catching that perfect shot right away. I would have probably paid her whatever amount just based on the photos alone, but after meeting her (via Skype) and leaning on her when my first venue option fell through, I can definitely say that was worth every penny (and more) that we paid her! I wish we lived nearby so Kelsea could do all of our photos from here until eternity, I loved her services THAT MUCH. I can't say enough about her, really. 5+++ stars!

Kelsea Joann Photography was perfect for our wedding day and she captured so many quality photos for such an affordable rate when compared to others in the industry. She is open to your ideas and will also give you advice if you have no clue how to pose and/or if taking photos is not in your comfort zone. Definitely would recommend KJP!

Hiring Kelsea was one of the best wedding decisions I ever could have made. Right off the bat I realized her wedding packages were extremely inclusive and very reasonably priced. When I received her 'Welcome' packet it was filled with great advice and information for the big day. Tips from makeup to timeline; things I may have never even considered.
Leading up to the big day and the day of, she and my coordinator (Kandice Kelso from Green-Eyed Girl Productions) worked cohesively and with dilligence to create the best photography timeline to include all the special shots I wanted while still allowing the wedding to flow naturally. Kelsea is fantastic in regards to keeping the process moving so that my guests were not waiting for us long. She was great at keeping everyone invloved in photos organized and focused (including some of our unruly groomsmen who kept wandering off).
I was stunned when I received via Social Media some sneak peaks of her favorites from the big day, literally THE SAME NIGHT! I was like most brides and eagerly anticipating seeing the photos and to see some the same night was thrilling. Her turn around in general was phenomenal. To get a album that size in about a months time is incredible.
Upon receiving all the photos I quickly began to realize Kelsea has an astute technical understanding of photography while simultaneously being able to create soft, personal, quality, romantic images/memories.
I'd like to say that her affordability equally matches the quality of service and product you will receive but you're actually getting a steal! She is worth way more and I am pleased to have had the opportunity to work with her. My wedding package included an engagement shoot, a boudoir shoot and the wedding day. Since then I have hired Kelsea for a family shoot and an upcoming maternity session and will continue to book her over the years. I have also referred as many friends and family to her as possible!
Long story short, Kelsea ROCKS!

I don't often feel beautiful when I see photos of myself, but when I saw myself in our engagement photos and later, our wedding photos by Kelsea, I felt gorgeous. My husband and I are by no means savvy in front of the camera, but Kelsea's warm and positive personality wiped our nervousness right away. She knew exactly what to ask of us to move from creative shot to creative shot. Her turnaround is quick, the quality of photos truly exquisite, and prices very reasonable. I'm excited for future events to hire her again! I wouldn't want anyone else to document the biggest moments in our lives.
