Words cannot describe our experience with Kelley. From the start, her laid back personality helped us to be completely at ease while she seamlessly guided us, she has a perfect balance of letting things happen naturally while also helping us with “not posed” posing. What initially drew my eye to her work was the style of her shooting, and her lighting/editing style. We were so so happy with both our engagement shoot and wedding. She captured amazing memories. My fiancé’s biggest concern was having a photographer who was “behind the scenes” not popping up in the middle of the ceremony, and she also checked that box!! She also is so responsive, responding promptly with any questions, being on top of helping me put together a schedule for day of, being so supportive and truly being a stress reliever. I could go on and on, but seriously, just book her!! She’s the best. Can’t wait for another event to book again!

Kelley is a dream! My husband and I do not know how to act in front of a camera, but she makes being photographed feel casual and comfortable. We hired her for both our engagement photos and to photograph our wedding and I am over the moon about how they all turned out. Turn around time for photos is also unbelievably fast. We would recommend her again and again and we look forward to hiring her for all our future life events!

Working with Kelley was an absolute dream.

From the moment my (now) husband and I laid eyes on Kelley's work, we knew she would perfectly capture the look and feel of our special day. Her honest, "moody" perspective is such a beautiful contrast to so many of the overly-exposed wedding photos you see these days—and was exactly the aesthetic we were hoping for.

During our engagement shoot (included in our wedding package), Kelley made us feel completely comfortable, traipsing around our stomping grounds of downtown Raleigh. My husband and I particularly loved that Kelley was more interested in capturing us being our real selves rather than having us pose or do anything that felt forced or inauthentic. On our wedding day (we had a very small, intimate wedding ceremony + dinner with close family and friends), I didn't even notice Kelley moving through the crowd and around the room—she's *that* good.

And of course, the photos! I can't express enough how perfect they are—so perfect that I still get chills every time I open our gallery. Kelley captured every single moment so beautifully. Perhaps most importantly, she's got an incredible eye for the small, in-between, subtle moments I didn't think could be documented—but I'm so glad she did.

So—long story short, I would work with Kelley again in a heartbeat. My husband and I are so lucky to have such a beautiful gallery to look back on for the rest of our lives. Kelley was, hands-down, the best decision we made on our special day (besides marrying each other!).

Kelley is amazing. Every time she takes our pictures we just can't wait to see them. Our wedding pictures are amazing, she captured every single moment perfectly. She is so easy to work with and just makes you feel at ease. She has done our family pictures, engagement, wedding etc. and I hope she will continue to capture our future moments!

It's almost been a year since our wedding and we are still reminiscing about the day with our beautiful photos! When we were looking for a photographer we knew we wanted someone that didn't over edit the photos. We wanted to look at the photos and say "That's exactly how it looked." Kelley was comfortable to work with, adjusting her day of schedule to match our changing schedule (the guys were late to get ready after lunch), and captured so many priceless moments that I would have never thought of asking her to photo. We chose not to hire a videographer due to the budget so choosing a GREAT photographer was important to us. We are still happy with that choice and highly recommend Kelley for engagement/wedding photos! Whenever we decide to have children we hope to use Kelley again :)

Kelley is absolutely amazing! She did our engagement and our wedding pictures. I couldn’t of asked for a better photographer! Not only did the pictures turn out amazing but she was so awesome to work with! Would recommend 10/10 times! Will definitely be using her for all of our future adventures!

Asking Kelley to be our photographer for our intimate day was one of the best things we did for our wedding day. She is phenomenal!! Her communication, professionalism and flexibility is top notch. But those photos! Ah! Nothing could beat them. Kelley captured raw, edgy, moody, delicate moments full of emotion. Even when she directs your style she doesn’t overly pose you and captures really sweet, sincere moments that allow you to relive the magic of the day over and over again. She seems to let her talent and skill shine through without over editing which I really appreciated in this heavily filtered world we live in. People have literally stopped me in public several times since posting our photos on social media and have complimented the quality and the style. I’m thrilled with Kelley and her work and would recommend her to anyone, anytime!

We can't thank Kelley enough for the way she captured our day. Her ability to find the small moments among the noise is our favorite thing about her work. She's calm but assertive, which is especially important when you are adhering to a schedule or dealing with a large group photo (aka your family's Christmas card photos). She doesn't offer too many posed or overly directed shots which is great for those that find getting their picture taken awkward or forced. Kelley has been an extreme pleasure to work with from the start. She’s very accommodating and flexible. Contract is clear. She addresses any questions or photography need you have during the whole process. The wedding was held about five hours away. After having various discussions with the bride about her expectations, Kelley drove up on the day of the wedding and immediately started working with the bride on producing stunning photos.

She was also a great big help to the bride the day of the wedding. We’ve only seen a few photos so far but what we’ve seen are exquisite.

We just got all our wedding photos back and I feel like I won the lottery!!! They are moody, raw, full of emotion, candid, the composition is dreamy, the colors, they capture the true essence of our wedding. Kelley is amazingly talented - she's an incredible artist and I'm over the moon excited! We planned a destination wedding and after I narrowed it down to my top favorite photographers that were in our budget, I chose her based on her work and transparent approach. I love authentic people and instantly felt a connection to her. She arrived early, she was focused the entire time, being creative all the while. I tend to get overwhelmed with a ton of photos and she did such a great job at being fluid and disappearing to the background, yet somehow she was always in the right spot at the right time. I don't even remember seeing her when I was walking down the isle but she got all the dreamiest photos and I was able to just be in the moment. I really appreciate that skill in any photographer capturing a live event, because it's not easy. Our expectations have been far exceeded - thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of our wedding and forever memories.
