We hired Kari to photograph our wedding last November at the Historic Post Office in Hampton, VA and she was an absolute Rockstar. She made two awkward people comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera and the experience of taking tons of pictures incredibly fun. Her ideas for composition and poses lead to the best photographs we have of ourselves and of our families. Kari is the best. I couldn't put into words how wonderful she has been from the first meeting all the way through the editing of the pictures. She takes the time to get to know her clients and really delivers what they are looking for. We had her take our engagment pictures as well as our wedding. Not only did she capture every moment of our wedding, she made sure to capture pictures that we didn't even know about. We hired KE Photography to capture our wedding and were so pleased with the photos we received. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
Had my daughter get Boudoir photos to help with her anxiety. Something the photographer was made aware of well ahead of time. Based on research this is suppose to be something that helps younger women with anxiety. Well; if you are considering this photographer for that... MOVE ON!!!

She was completely unprofessional. She did nothing more than add to the anxiety, and in the end told my daughter to seek therapy. How unprofessional to use what you were told in Confidence as a weapon against your client!

After speaking to other professional photographers about the experience. They advised this photographer knows nothing about professional lighting, placement/staging, posing, etc.. She is great if you are looking for an unskilled, untrained, wannabe photographer, who wants to charge like she is an actual professional.

She will make promises that she won’t fulfill, like the having my daughter buy wings exclusively for her photo shoot. Had her purchase them for $100, telling her they would be used for her first. To then see them used a week earlier for a friend of hers in a photoshoot, she put on her Facebook page showing them off, before my daughters shoot.

My daughter even got her friend a shoot, to help her friend also feel better. Somehow that friends shoot was less expensive (not because of any sort of group discount) and was a better experience. She got her pictures faster, was treated better, and was happier with the experience. Guess when the photographer knows you have challenges, she doesn’t mind exploiting them?

My daughter still doesn’t have what she paid for, not only in terms of experience, but here we are a week after choices were made and nothing and no communication.

She had the gall to tell my daughter, after my daughter expressed her dissatisfaction with the quality of the photos, that not only did she need therapy, but that she was going to pick what went into her photo album she paid for, since she wasn’t happy with the pictures. Like seriously? She told you she wasn’t happy, and your response is you’ll fill a book full of pictures she doesn’t like?

She had her husband pick some pictures, and even he struggled to find ones he liked of his own wife. He chose some to try to brighten the experience, and have something to remember this time by. Still don’t have those either. All of these have been paid for prior to the session.

I can go on and on about all the of the negatives. Her makeup artist is a dream. Nice lady, great vision, and awesome personality. The photographer.... well if you want to hire someone with a child’s mentality, she’s your girl!

It’s almost as if she saw a successful person who was younger than her and able to afford her, and wanted to show her dominance over her. She charged her more than others, treated her worse than others, and lied about many things. Seems as if she may be the one who needs treatment. Obviously your first set you spoke of didn’t work, if this is how you treat clients. Especially ones who merely wanted to feel like a Queen in for a day. To have photos of how great that felt, and wanted to feel great about herself!

Instead she walked away, hurt, upset, pissed off, and her session wasn’t even as long as it should be. When she tried to talk to you about it, you made a claim you took more photos of her than most clients. Know, that just because you click the button more times, doesn’t make your photos any better. You know you rushed her, treated her horribly, and when she tried to work it out with you, disrespected her, and had to exert your dominance.

Well, the experience you gave her will be shared in every public venue, social media network you can’t delete, and with anyone who will listen. Will even send a letter to your new landlord and the attorney general and everyone in between about your business practices, professionalism, and unfair treatment of people based on what appears to be a variety of things.

If you delay her photos any further, without fair and just communication, you will need to hire a lawyer as well. You are in breach of contract currently. Fix it.
