My name is Katja Irene Muller Alvarez, I was born in Mexico City, Mexico. When I was fourteen years old, I moved with my family to Los Angeles, California where I attended high school and University. I graduated from Chapman University Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in May 2012 with a BFA in film production and an emphasis in screen writing, directing and cinematography. I currently work at Metanoia Films LLC. A production company based in LA.

Many years ago I received a gift, a 35mm camera with which I began capturing moments. In time, what started as a gift to appease my curiosity became much more; that which I began capturing, ultimately ended up capturing me. It became my passion, my life, and my haven. I'm a freelance photographer taking select assignment projects near the Los Angeles area. I do both corporate and private work, providing assignment photography and personal photo shoots depending on my client and his or her needs.
