Katie did my wedding back in January. She was an amazing wedding coordinator. The biggest challenge was that both my husband and I are military, so we wouldn’t be home until the weekend of the wedding. So Katie and I had to do all of our coordinating via FaceTime, email, text, and phone calls. Despite this difficulty, working with Katie was so easy! She made sure that the wedding went over smoothly and I was never stressed. She had a member of her team even go and pick up the Zaxby’s we had ordered for lunch before getting ready for the wedding. And one of her best suggestions that she gave was for my husband and I to have our own private meal, just the two of us, before we went in to the reception to greet everyone. It was the perfect way to make sure that we both got something to eat amidst the whirlwind day. She worked with me to get the timing of the aisle walks and the songs perfect! And when the power went out while we were getting ready (too many curling irons) she got it taken care of right away. Either she or a member of her team were always on hand if ever I needed anything, and she provided me a schedule of the day that we’d created together so that I’d always know what was going on. Another difficulty we had in planning was that both the ceremony and reception were in the same venue. Katie figured out how to make the transition no hassle at all by transforming the tables in the back into faux church pews (so I still had a beautiful middle aisle!). She was a perfect liaison between me and the florist, the photographer, the videographer, the DJ, the venue owner, and everyone else!
