Katie is an AMAZING photographer! We hired her for our engagement photos and our wedding. Not only did she capture us and our day perfectly but she exceeded our expectations helping keep our track on time, and rounding up family and our large bridal party when needed. Her expertise helped us ensure we were putting together a timeline that was realistic but also covered all the shots we wanted. The photos came back so fast and she captured everything we envisioned and more! I am obsessed with how natural theh photos look and how well balanced the lighting was whether it was cloudy or sunny. We worked with Katie for our wedding, and it was the best decision. She immediately kicked into gear and handled the details, taking a lot off of our plates, while still involving us just the right amount to make decisions and communicate our opinions and preferences. She was so professional, but made the whole experience so much fun!

Before planning a wedding, you never think about all the detail and hard work that goes into it. When we were in the middle of planning, I never felt stressed, and really enjoyed the process. Katie was a huge contributor to that. She used her prior experiences and built upon them to help make our day run as smoothly as possible. She asked for a detailed list of each and every family member that we wanted group photos with; again, a detail I would have overlooked, but I can't describe how helpful it was and how quickly and smoothly the process went, especially with our 50+ person family!

She had a magical way of working with five children (flower girls and ring bearers) that did not want to smile, and one who actually had the flu. I don't know how she did it but she got them all to smile and look at the camera at the same time. The pictures are all amazing and capture such a special day in our lives.

I love to take pictures (not anywhere near a professional level); I thought it was going to be hard to not carry a camera with me at my own wedding, but the thought never even crossed my mind on our wedding day; Katie got all we could ask for and more. She has fun fresh ideas that we would not have even thought of, but also made sure to get all the shots that we requested. That's why it's important to have a wonderful photographer that you trust completely, and I can't recommend Katie enough, I would give her 100 stars if I could!

Katie shot our wedding in September of 2015 in Granby, CO. She is fun and professional, without making you feel awkward while having your picture taken all day. She got people where they needed to be (for large family photos that was very important!) and made sure we had some "just us" pictures, too. She really captured us as a couple and even the small details that made our wedding important. She will go above and beyond for you! I would be remiss if I didn't add that she also climbed to the top of a mountain to capture our proposal, as well as braving a blizzard to take engagement photos! Katie is the best, I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a fun and phenomenal photographer!

Katie was very accommodating. She responded quickly and she provided us with feedback on where it would be best to take photos. She was well prepared; it was nice to have her part of our day.

Katie's wedding photos were incredible! I was fortunate to have two weddings (one in Wisconsin where I am from and one where my husband is from) and I very much cherish the wedding photos that she took, especially those of my family & my husband so much!

Some highlights:
- Katie provided me with all of the high quality original wedding photos after the wedding without trying to charge me ransom for them or extracting an extra fee to get her logo off the photos. ASK around about this, because it's quite common and I was so glad I didn't have to deal with that while working with Katie!
- She provided me with a few highlight photos the night of the wedding so that we could use them on social media while we waited for the rest of the photos. Again, some photographers refuse to do this, which is crazy!
- She was super flexible with the fact that we had to move all of the wedding indoors (given weather) and the photos still turned out incredible.

Katie was everything I could have asked for in a wedding photographer and more! I got so many compliments on the fact that she made us look so natural, authentic, and actually like ourselves. She catches all the important moments, is extremely organized, and has amazing attention to detail that made our pictures truly one of a kind. Not to mention that her personality puts everyone at ease. I will go to Katie for any photography needs I have in the future, hands down.
