When planning our daughter’s May 2021 wedding, I don’t think I fully appreciated the importance of selecting the photographer who would be capturing the images of this most important occasion! But when the day arrived, I began to understand that there is so much more than just “taking pictures” of the bride, groom and the wedding itself. First and foremost, Kate Panza is an artist. She is incredibly talented and managed to catch the spirit of each moment, the heart of each individual photographed, as time seemed to race by on the wedding day. Her artist’s eye picked up the details, lighting and nuances that we might have missed. It’s been such fun to go back and see those images now that the wedding is a sweet memory. What I also learned is that Kate is incredibly organized and has the unique ability to stay on task, calm and focused when thousands of other details are unfolding. The schedule that she crafted with our wonderful wedding coordinator, Jessica Hernandez (Lovebird Lane Events), was both intentional and flexible. She made sure that our wishes were followed and we had time for all of the family photos as well. But probably the thing I will remember the most about Kate is her kindness. She is truly present, entering into the holiness of the moment as the wedding took place. Her work is her calling and it shows in the beautiful images that we will treasure for a lifetime. We are so grateful and strongly recommend Kate Panza Photography!

Kate Panza is one of the most humble and amazing individuals I've met in my entire life. The beauty of her photographs speaks for itself. She captures light, emotion, and details like no other photographer I have seen and this was my deciding factor in going with Kate. My now husband and I hired Kate in Spring 2018 after weeks of doing our research and knowing that photographs were very important for our wedding vision. Our wedding was planned for March 21, 2020. Unfortunately, we were the first wedding for Kate to be canceled in Texas due to COVID-19. That week our vision changed at least three times. There were so many tears shed, as to be imagined, but Kate was more than a professional photographer for us but our voice of reason and mentor. She spent so much time rearranging timelines, the wedding vision, and overall just being our top vendor bearing with us the entire week and for nearly a year after. Our wedding was moved to October 2020 and again to February 6, 2021. Kate did not have to do this, but she remained our photographer the entire time. I always felt like a priority with Kate and was treated with such kindness and respect at all times.
If you want beautiful photographs that are light, airy, and capture beautiful details, then YES, Kate is the photographer for you. If you more than a vendor who is passionate about her talents and captures the emotion of the most important day of your life, then YES YES, Kate is 110% the photographer for you.
We went with her for engagements, bridal portraits, and of course the wedding we were eventually able to have. Oh and brides, I completely recommend doing bridals. I was somewhat on the fence at times, but this was an opportunity to interact with Kate in my dress, increase confidence in my poses, and allowed us to have more flex time on wedding day because so many amazing shots were already taken ahead of time. Pro tip...do it all and go with Kate Panza Photography :)

Kate was the best to work with for engagement, bridal and wedding day pictures. She made our wedding exactly what we wanted it to be, highlighting our favorite parts of the day. She is extremely kind, encouraging and reassuring during the most exciting yet stressful time of your life. I can’t wait for her to photograph our little family as it grows. Even living in Houston, I would travel the distance to work with her again.

Kate Panza was the BEST wedding planning decision my husband and I made. We chose to have a destination wedding and decided our photos were of the utmost importance to us. I don't even know where to start with my review of Kate. She is amazing in so many ways. Personally, she is such a kind and genuine person, that made me and my husband feel so comfortable and special. Professionally, she is the most talented photographer and captures every detail perfectly. My now husband and I fell into a difficult situation when two months before our wedding we decided to part ways with our photographer and find a new one. This had me VERY stressed. I had a Facebook friend that had been posting the several months before just how amazing her photographer was, and that quickly came to mind as someone I wanted to get in touch with-Kate. I set a consultation with her, but I also had scheduled 4 other consultations over that week. Kate was the first we met with, and after our meeting, we cancelled every other consultation. We knew that she was everything we wanted in a photographer, and even in a new friend. She never ceased to amaze us with her thoughtfulness. She went above and beyond in every way possible, and the pictures she takes are complete art. Any bride would be SO LUCKY to have Kate, and I recommend her to everyone.

I cannot say enough about Kate. I wanted rich, beautiful photos that would be forever mementos for my husband and me. Kate nailed it! She listened and made sure she understood what we wanted and then delivered photos that astonishing blew away our expectations. She's remarkably talented, not to mention, is so fun and easy to work with! Her light never stopped shining and is reflected in every single image.

Kate was such a blessing to us on our wedding day. She is so professional and talented. I really feel we gained a friend in our wedding photographer, and we are planning on using her in the future!

If could do my wedding day over again I would definitely change a few things! Kate is not one of them. The memories she captures and the way she personally finds the unique beauty in every couple's relationship is priceless. We LOVE her and her photography.

Booking Kate as my photographer was the second best decision for my wedding. Second to the decision of marrying my husband :) Kate is professional, passionate, and an artist. Kate truly wants to learn about the couple and their vision for the day. She wanted to be involved every step of the way and wanted updates as I made decor and attire decisions. Kate is an amazing photographer! Not only does she have a brilliant eye for photos, she is extremely professional and fun to work with. Kate did both my engagement and wedding photos, and I could not be happier with how they turned out. She rocked it in freezing cold temperatures, and worked around our crazy wedding day schedule to give us the perfect shots. We were absolutely thrilled by Kate's work and will definitely use her in the future for other life events!
