Kate has a great way of learning about the couple and who they are and incorporating that into the photo session. The outcome is really personal, unique photos that you will treasure forever. We got so many compliments on our shots that there were too many to count. She was willing to shoot on the coldest day of the year, and made us both feel very comfortable. It is difficult to put into words how wonderful my experience was with Kate Kelly Photography. It has been a year and a half since my wedding and I still get goose bumps every time I look at our wedding images. Her images are able to capture the personalities of the bride and groom and the energy of that special day in such a way that even a perfect stranger can look at your wedding pictures and almost know you from just the photos. It took us a full year to order our wedding album as we live on the east coast, and again the final product was extraordinary! Angie has an amazing gift of design that tells the story of that day through the images that will be a treat for generations to enjoy. Everyone we have shown our wedding photos and album to sound like a broken record, saying they are the most beautiful photos/album they have ever seen. To top it off, Kate and Angie are the most wonderful people to work with and we have the pleasure of calling them friends after they have witnessed such a special time in our lives. We will be back again for more photos soon, as we are expecting our first child.

Working with Kate and her team has been a wonderful experience. Our interview with her was an absolute breeze and we knew right away that she was the right photographer for us - her work is beautiful, and Kate herself is incredibly personable and professional. She is also well-networked within Portland's wedding-related community, so she was able to provide valuable insight & suggestions that helped us tackle some of our wedding preparation tasks.

After meeting Kate at a wedding we worked on together, I decided to hire her for a professional photo shoot on my birthday last year and we had such a FUN time!!! Not only is she an excellent photographer, she is one of the sweetest and kindest ladien in the industry. My husband and daughter met up with us half way through the shoot and she offered to take some family photos as well...even though we only had a half hour they are some of the best we have! She made all 3 of us feel totally at ease and knew all the great spots to go for modern and edgy photos. When I saw the photos I was beyond thrilled and can't wait for our next session with Kate!
