I wish I could give Katie and her team a higher rating. They were absolutely incredible from start to finish. She is so easy to work with and took such beautiful shots! We had a major timing snafu on the day of the wedding, and Katie & her team jumped right into action and made sure things were fixed as needed. They truly went above and beyond and made me feel so much less stressed during the wedding. I will absolutely be hiring them again for family photos, newborn shots, truly everything.

Using Kate Grace Photography was easily the best decision I made when planning my wedding!!! We have had our photos back for two months now and are STILL crying every time we look through them and will never get enough. I want to print every single one, post them all, and treasure them until I die!! They are so special, so beautiful, and captured our day perfectly.

My dad did not understand why the photographer cost so much money until he saw the photos. Now he says it was the best money he has ever spent and shows every single person he meets (yes - even strangers) at least 10 photos from the wedding. It is adorable, and he is RIGHT! The day flew by just like everyone told me it would, and I am so so happy we have these incredible photos to last a lifetime.

Katie is simply a ray of sunshine in this world and had the best attitude, calmness, sincerity, and joy of all our vendors. Her photography style is timeless, elegant, romantic - everything I hoped for in my wedding photos and more. She made me feel so relaxed and beautiful all day long, and I felt like she had listened to what I wanted and did her best to get those shots. If I were to change ANYTHING I would have hired her for even more hours!!

Katie is just one of those people you meet and can immediately tell she’s a good person. She was a true pleasure to work with - no drama, no stress. Worth every penny like my dad says. On top of all that, she delivered a good amount of sneak peak photos within 48 hours of the wedding and we had our entire wedding collection back just a few weeks after that!! Kate did our engagement photography a couple of months after we got engaged. She guided us through the process of getting permits for the National Mall, gave great preparation advice, and had lots of good-shot ideas that we had not initially thought of. The end product was fantastic. Pictures and album turned out amazing!

Katie and her team are absolutely wonderful! We finally had a chance to go through the photos again after a quick initial look through, and everything is absolutely beautiful!! They captured the day perfectly and it was such a joy to see it come to life in the pictures, especially since the day itself felt like such a blur. They were fabulous to work with - professional, talented, and fun - and we appreciate everything they did to make the day so spectacular (including allowing us to relive it over and over through the photos)!

Kate is such a great photographer! We worked with her over two sessions, a wedding and post-wedding photoshoot. For the latter, we'd picked a random small trail along our jogging route in the middle of nowhere, and Kate made it look like a magical wonderland. Her edits have been universally loved by us and our wedding guests; I love that they are suitable for social media and large prints alike.

-She is lightning fast with her workflow, switching between lenses and setting up lights for night shots; she was able to capture every important moment
-Prior to the wedding, we filled out a questionnaire that included subjects/moments that we wanted her to focus on. In reviewing all the photos, it became apparent that Kate planned things out ahead of time.
-Kate is a master at creating bokeh and framing light in general
-She was superb at helping us pose. Everything came out natural and warm

Katie was amazing at our wedding and we're so grateful to have her photography to memorialize our wedding day! Truly high quality work overall, and a number of the shots she took are incredible centerpiece-worthy pieces. Even family members who were sometimes hard to please loved her work. Katie is also not just a talented photographer but absolutely lovely to work with. She was very organized and thought ahead on the details to make sure no aspects (e.g. wedding party and family combinations, good spots for taking photos at the venue, etc.) were overlooked, but she was also flexible in the planning portion and didn't push us in any direction we didn't want to go. It was helpful to have her experience and knowledge to help plan out the wedding when many of our other vendors didn't have their acts together. And on the day of, her calm self-assurance helped keep me grounded. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer and would hire her again myself!

My husband and I hired Kate Grace Photography to capture both our engagement photos and wedding photos. We cannot say enough great things about her. She is so sweet, easy to work with, and can handle the stress of a wedding. We have a large difficult family, but she managed them so well. She is a solo photographer but there was not a moment she missed. She was able to capture everything! Our pictures turned out so well and she gives them all to you in the end. I know some photographers will charge you for pictures or you only get to keep 400/1000 pictures, but she sends you all of the edited pictures (we got over 700). SHE is AMAZING!! We plan to hire her for all of photography needs in the future!

KateGrace Photography was professional throughout the whole process. I met her at a wedding expo and I liked her instantly. Her personality is perfect for photographing weddings and her enthusiasm is infectious. The engagement session we did was amazing at the Great Falls National Park in Great Falls, VA. The temperatures were so high that my hair was melting and she braided for me! Katie did not falter once and never complained (I think I did more ha!). At the wedding she was great and captured some great photos. She has an amazing eye that comes with natural talent and she captures the unexpected angles. She was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great photographer for their big day! Thank you for lasting memories and an amazing experience :)

Can't even explain how amazing my experience with Kate was. Our pictures were so personal and perfect. Anyone with a good eye and a nice camera can take decent wedding photos, but it takes someone with great talent to provide pictures that perfectly capture the memories and the feelings that go with them.

Looking at my wedding photos made me feel like I was completely re-living the day. Kate was awesome to work with, was super friendly on the phone and in person, and even helped with random things that were definitely not her job- like helping us while we were getting ready. She was very determined to get great pictures without spending hours doing it.

I'm really, really picky about pictures, and my husband knew that they were one of the most important things to me. But after a little while, it was disgusting and humid outside, and I got really tired of taking pictures. I just wanted to go back to the reception because I was so frustrated with the weather and stressed about the day in general. Kate kept encouraging me and insisted that we take more. I later found out that my husband had sat down with her and told her that pictures were the most important part of our wedding to me, and that he knew I was going to get tired and stressed and tell Kate I wanted to stop, but that she should ignore me and keep going. I love that Kate honored this and kept encouraging me, knowing that the pictures were really important to me.

Again, I can't describe how amazing our experience was. If I were to do it all over again, there's no way I would take a chance with anyone but her. She came out with two weeks notice and gave me the best experience possible.
