Kate is, quite simply, the best!! My husband and I were married May 2017 and Kate did both our engagement and wedding photos. Both were captured beautifully. She allows you to be yourself, and takes candid pictures as you smile, laugh, and interact with each other naturally. It's such a fun experience working with her. Our wedding album now includes photos of everything we could possibly ask for, capturing moments we might have missed if Kate wasn't there to freeze them for us. The best part is, she absolutely loves what she does, and it shines through in her work!! We are so grateful to have had her as such an important part of our special day, making sure our memories are always there for us to look back at.

Where do I even begin... I happen to stumble upon her blog while researching wedding photographers and never looked back!! My husband to be and I met Kate at a local coffee shop and we hit it off right away :) Fast forward- we had our engagement photos taken in Lewes, DE .. Kate drove down early one Saturday morning and spent a few hours photographing us at some of our favorite spots around town. She was so flexible and pretty much let us lead the way. We were initially nervous about how it would feel with someone following us around with a camera- but Kate made the whole experience wonderful. The three of us chatted most of the time and by the end of the day we had a new friend :) ... Now onto the BIG DAY, well there was a tropical storm in the forecast- and before our day arrived, Kate took it upon herself to do some research on photo shoots in the rain! She set up a whole virtual board for me to look at and she asked for my feedback. I can't tell you as an anxious bride how valued this made me feel as one of her clients. I am sure she knew I wasn't totally excited about a rainy day wedding- but boy she turned lemons into lemonade. Long story short it ended up pouring rain all day on June 7th and thanks to Kate and her assistant Jess, the one thing I still have from that day- my PHOTOGRAPHS- are more than I could've ever wanted!!! My favorite photos of hers are the candid shots- the ones you don't even realize she snapped until she sends them... I still relive that day and all the emotions when I pull out my wedding album and it's all thanks to her :) I am sure there are many wonderful wedding photographers out there... But certainly no other Kate Callahan.

Kate was absolutely wonderful! My husband and I are not ones who love having our picture taken and Kate made us feel so comfortable. The photos came out amazing and most of them we didn't even know she was taking! We still get complimented regularly on our photos (almost 4 years later) and are often asked who the photographer was! I highly recommend using Kate!

Kate is THE BEST! I seriously do not have words for the beauty and love she is able to capture in her photos! I was married in April of 2017 and she had me sneak peaks within 2 weeks and my full albums to me less than 2 months later! She is fun, easy going, and creative! I HIGHLY recommend her for wedding photography!
