Karen did a wonderful job with my daughter's wedding. The photographer was well done and creative. I liked the way she work with everyone especially those people who don't like to have there picture taking. She was very good at recognizing everyone's needs.

Karen is very pleasant to be around! She's flexible easy going and fun yet very professional! Karen has done engagement, baby, birth of the baby, and coming home(from deployment) pictures for our family! This flexibility is unique, in the fact that most photographers only want to and only will do one type of session and I feel that this gives her a major advantage as it shows in her pictures. Not only does she listen to you she'll also throw out suggestions, which is huge! I've work with a photographer previously that had no suggestions and it was awful the staging in the pictures looked horrific! I highly recommend Karen she'll help capture the most important moments of your life and they'll look amazing!

Karen was so much fun to work with... she fully encouraged my husband's and my quirkiness in the photos she took- for both our engagement session and for our wedding. She was also able to capture our personalities to the fullest, which then creates lasting memories not only for us, but also for our family and friends. She was very meticulous when working with the lighting and poses- I'm not a photographer myself, but she definitely took the time to make sure everything was perfect. I can't speak for the value because my parents paid for both sessions, so I feel it's unfair that it knocked down the rating by 1 point. Although I do know that my parents were thrilled with the end result. There is no doubt I would recommend Karen for those needing a photographer in the Central Illinois area.

Amazing photographer! Very personable, friendly, and knows her stuff. As a fellow photographer I hired her to photograph my second daughters birth! She was there throughout the 23 hour labor and was so amazing. HIRE THIS WOMAN! She's amazing!

my husband and I have a 2 year old daughter and we had adopted a sweet baby boy who we had for 7 months before we found out that we had to give him back to his birth family. We asked Karen to take photos of our final moments together as a family. She went above and beyond, and did more than we could have ever asked for. She was so sensitive to our needs and she totally blessed us with beautiful photos that constantly remind us of our time with our son. They are the most amazing images we have EVER had done (and we've had several)! I highly recommend her!!!

Today, I look at my photos and I am many things, but to pin point- I am ever so grateful. I remember worrying about my sons 3 years old and 10 months old. I remember worrying about the feather in my hair blowing in my face as the gusts of wind about blew my toddlers over, I remember thinking to myself, UGH my eyes are red- I hope my exhaustion from preparing to marry my soon to be husband take over the overwhelming joy inside as I step into a pose to smile that typical bride smile and pose the typical pose…

My expectations were exceeded. My worrisome tears quickly became happy tears as Karen helped take the pressure off as the typical became the unique. Karen truly takes the as is- and captures your heart. She takes the moment and freezes it in knowledge, time, experience, love, unique creations, understandings (“with I’ve been there befores”), and simplicity- All wrapped it in a bow of comfort and heart.

Karen did a fantastic job as our wedding photographer! She was able to meet with me months in advance and really go in depth with planning. I felt very safe with her and was not disappointed! She knew exactly what to do, and she had great confidence which allowed me to relax and not worry too much. We received our photos extremely fast, and were thrilled with the outcome. She's very talented, and also a lot of fun to work with. Brendan and I have great memories from our wedding day because of Karen, we will be forever thankful!

Karen was great to work with. I think we got great service for what we paid for. She wasn't the most expensive photographer we found but maybe the best.
