Johnny was our DJ for our wedding in June of 2021 and he was awesome to work with. He was super responsive and friendly and really took his time getting to know what type of music we wanted. The questionnaire we filled out was awesome and super detailed. We also really appreciated his willingness to come out to our venue which was sort of secluded in the mountains. He did both our ceremony and reception and was able to accommodate any request we had. He helped the day go by so smoothly and rolled with our changing schedule as well. Our friends and family had a blast dancing the night away and everyone loved the music!

I had seen and heard John at various events in the past. When it was time to pick a DJ/MC for our wedding, he was the logical choice. He did not disappoint. From providing wireless microphones for the officiator and violinist at out wedding ceremony to providing a top notch setup at our reception, John did an amazing job. The music kept everyone dancing for hours.

Finding a great wedding DJ can really feel like rolling the dice - so hard to know who is really talented until you see them in action with your music on the big day. On some level, you just have to read their reviews and hope you've made the right choice.

Well, if you're reading this review, you should know Johnny was FANTASTIC and worth every penny. We'd highly recommend him and here's why:
1) Seamless live mixing songs -- He really proved the value-add of having a DJ actually mixing tracks instead of just a playlist going one song after another. He got people dancing quickly and kept them there with anthems building on one another. Great read of the crowd and keeping up the energy.
2) Great to work with before -- In addition to digesting our somewhat eclectic playlist and helping us think of "must plays" versus "maybe plays", he even helped us cut together a shorter version of the Father-Daughter song and music for the ceremony.
3) Doesn't steal focus -- We've all been to weddings where you kinda roll your eyes at the DJ's schtick (cheesy announcements, that sort of thing). Johnny was smooth and professional, clearly enjoying his craft and the party but letting the music speak for itself. He really made it feel like our dance floor instead of his.

For reference our music was a mix of indie dance tracks (think Daft Punk, Robyn, Chromeo, Calvin Harris), 90s/00s nostalgia (Justin Timberlake, The Killers, 2pac, Timbaland, Usher), and some more random stuff thrown in (Prince, Chainsmokers, Sean Paul, Cold War Kids).

He was such a pleasure to have as a Dj for my wedding!! He was willing to work with me every step of the way.

Johnny is awesome! I would hire him again and recommend him to everyone for any kind of event. We found Johnny on weddingwire when searching for the right fit on our big day. He responded the same day and set up a phone call to walk us through all the questions we had and had a response to everything. Not only did he answer all of our initial questions but he worked with us through all of the changes our wedding faced due to COVID-19 including a last minute venue change and equipment needs. My husband and I do not have friends and family that dance, but to my shock the dance floor was PACKED throughout the entire night. He was able to read the crowd, smoothly transition across genres, and even helped our best man out with sound effects during his toast. Since his equipment is mobile, he was able to transition the party indoors where everyone went a little crazy on the dance floor..again these are not people that normally dance! I cannot recommend him enough for your event, you will not be disappointed.

Johnny was an excellent DJ/ MC for our event! I would highly recommend him. He is extremely prompt in responding, dependable, and overall very professional. We had a many cultures to consider - including Arab, Pakistani, Italian- and I had given Johnny a list of songs, but he put it all together and made it flow nicely. Our guests had a blast! He is just a nice guy, easy going, flexible. He has experience. He also is reasonably priced in my opinion. Choose him for your next event! You won't be disappointed!

He is very good and will not disappoint

Johnny played for our wedding. Me and my husband were scared mixing Spanish and English music but he made it work great. He was also quick to response and answer any questions we had. Would 100% recommend!

Johnny was fantastic! He was super prompt and helpful during the planning process and was super accommodating throughout my many last minute changes and timeline updates. My friends and family raved about the music choices and he was able to get a mixed group of people all on the dance floor together. Totally recommend him :) thank you Johnny!
