We truly cannot say enough incredible things about Justin Johnson and his team! Hiring Justin for our 3/20/26 wedding at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Verona with our reception at Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, NJ was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding.
From the moment we met him, Justin made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. He has the most amazing personality- fun, calming, energetic, and genuinely such a pleasure to be around. He made the entire experience feel effortless and natural, which really shows in the photos.
We originally chose Justin because we absolutely loved his photography style and editing, and somehow our photos turned out even more stunning than we could have imagined. Every single image looks like it belongs in a magazine. Justin has an unbelievable eye for lighting, detail, composition, and emotion, and he somehow captured every moment perfectly. The photos feel timeless, emotional, artistic, and so authentically “us.”
One of our absolute favorite things was how many beautiful candid moments Justin captured throughout the reception. Looking through the gallery felt like reliving the entire day all over again - not just for us, but for our friends and family too. Those photos are truly priceless and memories we will cherish forever.
Justin and Carianne, the second shooter, were an absolute dream team. Together they captured every detail, emotion, and special moment so perfectly that we honestly could not stop smiling while going through our gallery. The turnaround time was also incredibly prompt, which made the experience even better.
We are completely over the moon with our photos and feel so lucky to have had Justin capture our wedding day. We would recommend him a thousand times over to any couple looking for an insanely talented photographer who also brings amazing energy, professionalism, and passion to what he does. He is simply the best!

To say that I wanted to work with Justin for YEARS in an understatement, and he did not disappoint! I attended a friend’s wedding in 2017 and loved their photos so much. When it came time for my own wedding, Justin was the first photographer I reached out to. His style is so natural and fun compared to some of the more produced/ethereal styles I kept seeing and never really felt were a fit for us. He's also a great person who genuinely cares about getting to know his clients. Neither of us are super comfortable being in front of the camera, but Justin’s approach made it so easy for us to be ourselves.

When we got our photos back I felt like I was truly reliving the day start to finish – he captured so many small moments, the overall vibe, and our personalities (and those of our guests) so perfectly.

Justin was fantastic from day one. He was responsive, kind, professional, and overall a delight to work with. He made my very camera shy (then) fiance smile and look totally natural. He worked with us despite not wanting to do a first look to get all of the photos that mattered to us. Each time we worked with Justin we didn’t want to leave! He capture the essence of our day and our relationship perfectly. I hope to use Justin again in the future and would recommend him to anyone.

Justin and Vanessa were a part of our epic, multi-day wedding celebration and truly captured every moment. Justin is flexible, thoughtful, and constantly went above and beyond (at one point we couldn't find a cell phone with signal to FaceTime sick family who couldn't be there, and Justin offered his!!). They weren't just there to take photos, but were a part of the entire celebration and felt like a part of our crew. Not to mention their charming, wonderful shots of us, our families, and the friends we had joining us. We find ourselves looking at photos of Camp Heinz constantly, and couldnt have asked for a better team. Hire them!!!!

Talk about hiring someone who just gets it! Justin and Vanessa could not be stopped when it came to capturing the best moments of the day. We still can’t stop looking at our pictures over and over again. We got married outdoors in June and met with Justin for a hangout practice shoot in March. From our first Zoom introduction to our pre-wedding photos and finally, on the big day, Justin was beyond friendly and organized and so comfortable to work with. He’s a great conversationalist and made everyone, especially our friends and families feel happy and relaxed on camera. He and Vanessa got the best shots we were never expecting on our wedding day and captured the truly special moments between us. He made it easy for us to communicate the important pictures we wanted beforehand and they encouraged all our friends and families to get beautiful pictures for themselves as well! When we got our photos back the colors were exactly what we hoped for and everything looked so beautiful. Everyone was shocked by the amount of photos we got back too - truly special! Accompanying, sweet, and efficient as ever. Cannot recommend Justin enough!

Justin was an incredible photographer and a dream to work with. To start, we loved his style and really clicked when we started talking. We found out that he also has the most important traits in a photographer: leadership and decisiveness. My wife and I both have large families that are difficult to wrangle. They were no problem with Justin, who had a shot list order perfectly set so that two people max were switching for most shots. He kept everything moving smoothly and got great photos from it too. Justin was a dream to work with before the event. He came to our morning-of fun run and also photographed our COVID wedding ceremony before the reception. We were thrilled to work with him and would recommend him and work with him again without hesitation.

We are so glad we hired Justin to photograph our wedding. It was an absolute breeze working with him and he was always very responsive to any questions. Not only did Justin coordinate with us for an out-of-town engagement shoot, but he was extremely accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding date due to Covid.

Justin and his wonderful second shooter (Vanessa) were very thorough in capturing our wedding day and made sure to get all of our requested shots. This was especially great since we chose not to have a videographer. A repeated compliment we heard when we shared his photos with our friends and family was “Wow!! They really didn’t miss a thing!” We are beyond thrilled with our beautiful photos.

When my husband and I started to look at photographers, we had a specific vision in mind which Justin understood right away. Not only is Justin ridiculously talented, he is very professional. For both our wedding day and engagement shoot he did a ton of research on what locations to shoot at to capture what we had in mind. We unfortunately were impacted by COVID and we basically picked our new wedding date around Justin's availability because it was a non-negotiable!! When we received our photos back I was truly in awe. We couldn't be happier with how our photos came out and have received so many compliments. Thank you again Justin & team - you made our day truly special!

Justin is not only an amazing photographer, but he is also just an awesome, really cool guy – which is really important because you want the guy who is following you around all day during your special moments to be someone you like being around. Justin’s pictures are incredible – and more importantly, he somehow manages to capture them all without interfering too much. There is never a “pose” “stop what you’re doing” “get out of the shot” directive – he’s really just about capturing the real life moment. Book Justin – you won’t regret it!

We love Justin!!! What a fun experience we had shooting our engagement photos and our day of photos with him. We found Justin through my best friend as he shot her wedding and it was a done deal before he even knew it. We did our engagement photos and afterwards grabbed dinner with Justin so we could spend some time getting to know each other. This was the best idea because on the day of our wedding, we were already comfortable with Justin. Our wedding gallery is extremely comprehensive and absolutely stunning. I've gotten nothing but praise for Justin's work not only from my guests, but from the other vendors we worked with for our wedding.
